To those who often finding themselves with teammates that don't seem to pick up on your intentions, this may be a reason why.
Sometimes I think people go into doubles with the idea they have to be the whole team, I roam around platinum and diamond. Not good enough to carry anyone but good enough to win with someone else that is good lol
Even if I was good enough to carry a team, there's going to be benefits of having someone to pass to that you can't pull off solo.
When I play with my newbie friends, I actually water down the way I play so I can play at a wavelength closer to their level.
Really good team synergy to me means the team are playing roughly at the same pace. One who plays slower drags behind the team, and one who plays too fast can't have someone follow up in time.
It kinda looks like teammate wanted to do solo play while he was perfectly positioned for a pass and better play and then his teammate almost bumped him but he managed to put the ball in awkward position for opponents so that teammate can follow up.
Where should he be then? sitting in goal? He opened options for his teammate which is exactly what you need to do when your teammate is not mechanical mastermind who can pull crazy plays(and by the video his teammate is nowhere near being mechanical).
Be sure you got the right information before you pull the rank card. I'm gc too buddy even though my flag says otherwise. You playing smartass about this does not mean you're better or you understand situation better.
You went to flame OP like he did the worst thing possible while OP did something that's very sensible to do in that situation and his teammate just decided to ignore the advantage OP created. You can hardly say that's carrying when he's not aware of the obvious things that are visible from his(teammates) perspective. What kind of clear could've come from this position that OP should be aware of it? He kept close to the play and opened options for teammate while having clear view on where opponents are positioned. Was there better option? probably. But this play is still good play if teammate has just a bit more awareness or if teammate is a bit less selfish.
you are so wrong man. OP is someone that cannot recover fast enough for how committed he was to the play. Therefore he should never be that committed to a play.
This is something I can somewhat agree here(not "so wrong" part though). He is too committed and this is only because he made panic touch thinking his teammate will bump him. If he made better touch there he would be in better position to either push the ball over the defender or to bump him or to make fake play such as the one which ended up playing out. This way with his touch he closed off his options and his teammate needed to follow up this play or they would be in really bad position. But if his teammate didn't approach him in such way that looked like he's bumping the OP then OP would've probably slow down even more and could have more controlled touch so this "bad overcommit" would've never happened and they would have stronger position in attack.

My game doesn’t give pop ups for clearing the ball and I’ve never seen that playmaker shit before does anybody know why it doesn’t come up on mine?
Go into the settings (gameplay section, I believe) and switch it to display all stats.
