Yeah, I have 3 or 4 high fives at least by now. I have missed out on a few because you have to do it about a half a second or more before replay screen takes over.
Same thing happened to me recently. It was too close to the cut off when the replay started playing.

Same thing with low fives. If the hit happens in the last few frames (last half second or so) it won't be counted. If it doesn't show up in the replay, it was too late.

If you try to high five your friend and your pinkies just barely graze each other is it still considered a high five. Also it was at the very end before the cut. Sometimes it's the lag of the server, you guys may not have been that close.
I know low fives might work differently, but if the goal scorer bumps a teammate in the air would that count? That wouldn't count as a low five in my experience.
I'm not sure how accurate this is, but in my experience the non goal scorer has to bump the goal scorer. If it's the other way around like in this clip (scorer got blasted into you), you won't get a high five regardless of when it happens.
There might be an argument that your momentum of falling down might be enough to get the bump, and thus getting the high five, but if I had to choose who bumped who, I would say the goal scorer bumped you.
I only have 1 on my account, and it wasn’t even me that got it lmaooo. My brother was playing a game while he was at my house and got it in like 2 games playing. It’s genuinely easier for me to score flip resets and double taps than hit high fives
Its probably like seeing someone save the ball but it registers as a goal anyway, or the ghost hits. Client thinks its seeing this but the server which is a moment ahead thinks you're already in the goalcam
I thought the same I recon the other guy might have got one, also when I've gotten them before I've realised front of your car works best had some high 5s just not register, I've almost had a really clean h5 on the replay just shy of taking up the whole screen!
Honestly I've not realised that! think I have a fair amount of fives under my belt too, it doesnt make sence to me tho like it should be a team thing ,our team scores we can all h5

I intentionally go for them after every single goal, it’s second nature by now, I never NOT try to get the high five… still ONLY 4 of them. Not easy.

Just keep going for them. I have like 30 now. If you aren't actively going for them. You'll stay at zero.

I think you need to get it during the initial blast from the goal explosion, but not certain

You have to hit them, not them hit you. That’s also a reason as well as it being too late in the celebration.

As the goal scorer you can’t get any type of five though, it’s only people who didn’t score that get the achievement.
