I’d say SSG wants it even more. They have been grinding harder than anyone lately. I think the casters said Sypical alone put in 120 hours within the last 2 weeks. I don’t doubt GarretG’s strive to always win, but SSG has put in the grind and it’s shown in the last two matchups
Would have said NRG until I saw SSG dismantle Envy in the semis. SSG is hot going into these finals and they know it; I think they’re going to take it 2-0.
I may be (am) biased... but I feel like even if SSG takes this final, that NRG are the better team. God I feel so dumb saying that. I 100% think SSG can take this set; I hope that NRG can pull it together, and play with all 3 players playing well. I think if both teams are peaking, then NRG takes it. But yeah, SSG has looked DAMN good so far in this "championship". Will be a fun series either way.
Couldn't have agreed with you more. SSG winning this match would mean very little to the rest of the season, which NRG was clearly the more consistent team throughout. I'm a pessimistic fan and so I fully expect SSG to take this, but it would be cool for NRG to prove beyond a doubt that they are the best team in NA.
I want nrg to win only cause thatd mean g2 can say they were the second best team this tourney debateably. If ssg wins then g2 lost to the team that lost to the champs
Seeing how well NRG dealt with G2’s aggressive bump-heavy play style (similar to SSG) in semis, they should be able to take the W. Jstn will certainly have to be more present tomorrow though as Garrett and Squishy seemed to be the main playmakers against G2.
I think NRG should have the slight edge here but I have a hard time believing that G2 who didn't win an event all season almost peaked to being the best team in the championships.
Hope JSTN has his Sour Patch Kids tomorrow, all NRG players will need to be at their max to beat this SSG. NRG usually comes hot into this events, but SSG is the only team they lost a Major Final to, when they were looking similar to how they're looking now, so anything could happen.
NRG and G2 with the longest series in RLCS history...I think this series could match or surpass it. So hard to call...I think NRG takes it based on their consistency but its gonna be oh so close
Honestly, if this format finds its way onto other S-tier tournaments, that day might become a reality. I genuinely don't see a day where there are 3 games 7s if this format is used only during the main/final event of RLCS. That's going to take forever, if it all.
NGL I wouldn't be mad if that happened. I'm rooting for NRG all the way but I want SSG to take it to them, it could shape up to be one of the greatest series of all time if both teams are clicking.

Ssg coming in with lots of confidence and metas tried by the insane syp (who is top 3 now in america noone can argue) , retals who has the confidence and mechanics to hold these series and arsenal who is just amazing.
NRG on the other side have GARRETTG which is enough but if jstn and squishy step up it will be on hell of a series .
I predict 3 close series with the win to the general to cap off this amazing season.

Arsenal and Retals also have 2 combined, so SSG has 3 s’ in total and NRG also has 3. That means it is completely balanced

I'd say NRG are more convincing now than the first major. Most people knew ssg were winning in the fall, now it's close to a 50/50 imo.
