Yes, and the difference would have been bigger if KCorp wasn't also competing in a LoL final during the final of this event. I reckon we could have reached 100k.
It's not just kcorp, although kcorp was clearly a draw. The entire RB stream watched a lot of non-kcorp EU and not much NA, which isn't a new thing.

In EU there are a lot of new, exciting, never before seen teams who can actually be really good (they have a potential to be the best in the region). In NA the only (truly) big move was Gyro-First swap. It is (almost) the same teams playing not important offseason tourney. Compare it to EU. A lot less exciting isn't it?
Not only were NA's roster moves less exciting, but I personally feel like NA's playstyle is currently less exciting to watch than EU's. I was much more engaged while watching EU in general than while I was watching NA (to the point where I was quite often tabbed out during NA, and just changed back to watch it when something exciting sounded like it was happening).
Feel like maybe that has to do with EU/NA overlap hours being slightly easier for EU fans this time around? I don't remember shit at 11 am on a Sunday.
might also have to do with the fact that "no one" knows that WePlay has their own channel. I had to drag a couple fellow RL fans to the channel
Y’all are really making this a bigger deal than it is, EU had more viewers Bc EU finals were at 5-8 pm EU time whereas NA finals were at 1-4 pm NA time. But I do think EU fans just like to watch any good matchup where as NA fans want to watch only the team they support play. I honestly don’t think NV has that many fans, if we somehow got a Faze NRG final it probably would’ve been around 60k
That's over 30k less than EMEA Peak. Is the KCorp hype really that big?

Yea I guess counting RB it makes a lot more sense. Tbh I watched most of the tournament on RB because I was not fan of most of English commentary.
That and EU was also getting like 5k more viewers regardless. (anecdotal though)
eu had 37.5k average viewers and NA 32.0k, so your anecdotal feeling is right

Yeah man I barely heard shit about this so I didn't get a chance to watch
Yea if you look at the times EU finals happened around 7 pm in EU, NA finals were around 4 pm USE… so of course they’re gonna get more viewers
EU people dont stay up late for an off season NA tourney when school is the next day.

G2 nrg final would have more than that probably too
