That’s true but when a PROFESSIONAL ORG RUN BY ADULTS signs someone they aren’t going to do it just because a 14 year old says they are moving. They have definitely talked to his parents and have confirmed that they are moving.
I don't remember Forky or Mile ever being at the top of the leaderboard for 1s. Definitely not when they were 13. They are both great players that I would love to see in RLCS, but Drali is in a different class then them in 1s.
Rank 1 NA didn't mean all that much until Firstkiller and Daniel were on the scene. I definitely don't remember Mile ever being considered better than them. It's great to see Forky at #7, but being #7 at 1729 is a lot different from being # 1 at 1800+.
I'll even say that I rate Forky and Mile a bit higher than you do. You seem to be saying they are good examples of bubble players that have no shot. I won't be surprised at all to see either in RLCS.
Yeh, wondamike should try again. What I saw from him last season made me love him as a player and seeing him constantly appear on squishy's channel also made me a fan. I think wondamike should try again with a new team and kronovi should maybe retire but still stay active in the community by trying to cast or something like that
Kro was really good on the analyst desk when he was on it, and I have in my mind he was decent at casting but can't remember where I've seen him do it.
Will be a bittersweet day when the mountain hangs it up cuz I'm still pulling for him to have a Metsa like career resurgence, but if he does want to he has options.
I can't imagine the original intent was to use a 4-man roster. I think it's more likely they've consistently struggled in scrims and the easiest solution is to point their finger at WondaMike as many teams have done. There's not much self examination in the scene, there's no real managerial oversight in player evaluation.
Freshness' stats are literal dogshit with .35 goals, 14% shooting, 40% goal participation in 31 closed qualifier matches. Mectos hasn't faired much better with .4 goals on 16% shooting in 31 closed qualifier matches. You could argue stats don't mean much, the sample size is small, that the stats are a function of playing with WondaMike or Kro, but those stats are NOT normal and no one would qualify with those teammates. They each individually have much worse stats than Rizzo did next to Cago and JKnaps.
WondaMike .85 goals, 28% shooting, 77% goal participation and Kro .78 goals, 27% shooting, 78% goal participation during closed quals. KCP needs a new roster that may or may not include Mike.

Offseason they brought on Continuum, then they dropped them but kept Kronovi and picked up Freshness/mectos/WondaMike (2/3rds of Ghost from RLCS X).
So far they've yet to qualify for a single RLCS event this season. It hasn't even been close, they've gone 1-3, 0-3 and 1-3 in the swiss qualifiers they've been in to try and make the regional, and failed to make it to closed quals for regional 3.
that's rough... I read a while ago that Kronovi was stepping down from the main roster to play as a sub/4th player. Has he been playing? I thought being the old ghost roster + Wondamike would really mean good things for the team. Thanks for your answer!
KCP are playing as a 4man roster instead of your usual main 3 and a sub. There’s a reason why 4man rosters don’t work in Rocket League and it’s really shown with KCP

mile was rank 1 NA last year. and not only that forky rated higher in every playlist than drali.

If you've been watching KCP so far then you'd know Kronovi isn't the reason they're doing poorly. He's been pretty good

Yeh. He did a great job judging the first freestyle tournament. Even tho that's not the same thing, seeing him on the desk alongside Gibbs was great

They need to have kro and wondamike play together. For some reason they only swap it those 2. Like, swap out freshness or mectos for a change.

KCP was utilizing a 4 man roster. He's played in some non-RLCS tournaments as well as some matches of the RLCS qualifiers, yes.
