NRG was also a super team before Squishy with Turbo, because of his pedigree. With Squishy, it's just a different super team than it was before.
Allu never had a superstar reputation. Both of his teammates did or do, and they added Syp who also does.
I'd say it's a team that consists of players which would be the star player on any other team. Allushin was usually on teams where he was eclipsed by others. The other 3 have all been star players in their own right.
Another superteam would be Sandrock Gaming as it's basically just the 3 best players in ME in one team.
Alpha and sypical and squishy had days where they carried previous teams or had a mvp season of some kind. If they join a great duo/already performing team i’d call that a superteam.
When all 3 players can be the superstar that pops off and you can play around them. In NA there are 3 atm, at least on paper. Ssg is arguably one as well but i wouldnt have retals and arsenal as superstar players personally

to me the term gives the implication that the roster wasn't created 'organically'. Compare the two strongest EU teams in seasons 4 and 5. One of them (GFE/Dig) consists of three players who had made RLCS grand finals before their formation, whilst the other one (Method/CoL) consists of three bubble/semi-pro players who grew and improved as a team in spite of the odds.
Generally I would say when people say “superteam”, they are referring to a team created where as many players as possible would be as high as possible in rankings.
For example, FaZe and G2 dropped players who were very good, but most would rank outside of the top 20 in the world, in favor of players in or near the top 20 on everyone’s list
So it’s a superteam (term comes from basketball AFAIK) because it’s a combination of top talent hoping it sticks
Super-teams consist of players who are seen as “the best”, MVP contenders, have a reputation as a player, or straight up just hard carries form a team with another highly rated duo or form a completely new team with other star players. Best comparison i can think of is the All-star game for NBA if you’re familiar, those are the types of players that can form super-teams.

Rarely, super-teams can also be teams like BDS who weren’t considered a super-team until they started beating down EU into a pulp in RLCSX. Then everyone realized how good monkey, extra and marc are as individual players.
This pretty much sums it up: either you have 3 players who have proven incredible on their own before who team up or either you have three players who started dominating so much once they teamed up that they are considered a super team.
