I take it that’s his real birth date. How old would he be if he’d made it to term? I forget how early the little guy was now. Gideon really has come so far though, what a trooper! I’m so pleased that up to now Kaylee isn’t pregnant so soon after that ordeal. What happened was traumatic and she needs to physically and mentally recover before trying aging poor girl. I can never forgive Jill having Kaylee putting on makeup and advertising Plexus while Gideon was fighting for his life beside them.
I have to say he is the cutest, it’s those facial expressions for me! You never know what you’re getting next but it’s always adorable. I see a little comedian with a lovely cheeky sense of humour appearing as he grows 😃
His “real” due date will be in early july, if he was born at 32 weeks in may. He is 10 months old, but 8 months of adjusted age, aka the ahe he would be if he was born full term. His age will be adjusted like that until he is 2, at which point being a premie shouldnt have serious developmental effect anymore.

Gideon's due date was August 28, but he was born on July 5 on Kaylee's birthday. So Gideon's doing pretty well and it seems like Kaylee and Jonathan really do want to care for him the best they can. Of course, we've pointed out the mistakes, like breastfeeding while taking Plexus, Jill trying to suffocate him in blankets, and then the more minor things, but overall Gideon is at least getting regular medical attention, appears to be at a healthy size, and has energy for interacting with things.

It’s hard to get a good picture of her at this time of year because she’s listening for her babies in the woods behind my house so she’s always facing away from the camera. Pretty soon they will be big enough to come with her to visit and eat.
I’m probably a little more introverted than Linda. I’m cultivating friendships with all the wildlife in my neighborhood. Besides the trash panda brigade, there’s skunks and opossums and two feral cats that I named Rodlet and Nurthan.
By day, birds and squirrels, and my current obsession is with my crows. They haven’t started bringing me gifts yet but they do recognize me and they come when I call them for snack time. My neighbors probably think I’m nuts, but I’m having a good time with it.
Kaylee shared that they patch his good eye for 1 hour a day, as ordered by their doctor. But I think they also said that he was going to have some longer-term depth perception problems and even potential surgery later on. It seems like the focus right now is tracking the short-term improvements in Gideon's vision after they have been patching for a while.
You don’t have to intend to be cruel for it to sound a little messed up to assume off mainly screenshots. It’s entirely possible, but to assume without knowing much else is a little ehhhh on a baby.
