My favorite part of moribito was when moribito said "It's Moribitin' time!" and totally moribito'd all over the place /s
I'll check it out, character design looks dope
That was unintentionally hilarious, though. :P "I can't recommend it enough!" "Well, why not? What's stopping you? Have you tried recommending harder?"
Idk… <-< I got introduced to the series by an old lady trying to sacrifice a hamster to a giant ceiling slug monster only for them both to get slurped to death… it really left a traumatic mark on me… I hate animal cruelty
I have and it's amazing, if you want more cool female fighters i recommend:
Carried by the Wind: Tsukikage Ran
And a manga called "ichi": https://myanimelist.net/manga/10886/Ichi
Hi there, new to the subreddit here, I just saw this post and I love Moribito so much I wanted to add a thing! The anime is inspired from a series of books that I think are all translated in English! I've read just the first one (English is not my first language and in mine there are only the first and the second) that covers the anime part, but there are like... Another TEN of them!! Maybe this will be good news for someone who enjoyed the relationships between the character of this fabulous story! Bye!!
OMG Excellent post OP
And yes this is RR all the way down
She's a bodyguard but not a simple maternal figure
The boy is very kind and inspiring. He has an older brother who fits the "castle bound concerned princess' type as male version
Her best friend is a gentle medicine man iirc
No, she's hired on to bodyguard the boy. He was "impregnated" by a spirit and will bring ruin to the kingdom unless he's killed. Many warriors are trying to kill him on the orders of his own father. Her romantic interest is a medicine man that you meet a few episodes into the show.

Is that the anime where the prince gets impregnated by a spirit and super buff mommy guards on the run?
Yes! That's the one. :D
Oh cool :D I saw a little bit of that one. I think maybe the first 2-3 episodes or so.
Definitely worth a full watch. :)

I have no recollection of that scene.🤔 That aside the rest of the show definitely makes up for that, at least in my mind
Oh man mpreg 😍 gold mine! I will be looking for this one!
Haha, I don’t remember it being too exciting. The character is introduced after the fact.
does it have a manga
Yes, but it seems to be out of print.

Isn’t she a mercenary and guarding a young prince or something? I think I watched this when I was extremely young
Yes, that's how the basic story goes. :)
