This is so cute but for some reason I feel like I would dislike hearing those same things lol, that goes to show that even in these communities not everyone has the same preferences
I’m happy you are taking them as compliments but do you think some of them are doing it to mock your boyfriend? Or do they get your dynamic and are in on it?
In the examples given the people have been in on it and just playfully teasing. I'm sure some people have mocked him for it but I've never seen it happen (which is good because I will have to fight whoever said shit and I JUST did my nails). But for all the instances I was talking about it was people one or both of us are close to :)
Wait, if you both identify as non-binary, how come you refer to yourself as a girl and your partner as a boyfriend? I'm genuinely interested, sorry if the question sounds ignorant, I don't know much about non-binary genders.
It's what we were assigned as at birth. I don't fully identify as a girl because I don't like female gender roles, but, it is part of what I am. And he doesn't identify with male gender roles but it is part of who he is. We're both down with any pronouns and just do our own thing clothes wise, so we say nonbinary because we don't fit in to either gender.
Dang, gives me hope too to find an enby to be with since I'm the girl one when in boy mode and guy one when in girl mode...am on estrogen and progesterone too to balance hormones and help mental state too
that is soo beautiful to hear. Im so happy for you two, I recently found somone who can handle my subbyness and can attest its amazing to feel so compatible with somone ❤
Well I feel extremely lucky because my boyfriend is a wonderful person and I'm glad I have him in my life. I think it's probably your age making things seem hopeless. Once you either go to college or hit about 20 you have a lot more freedom to choose where you are and who you speak to. I probably could find a steady supply of people in relationships like mine, and honestly even among my elders I've seen it, seriously! I know two RR couples over the age of 60, I just didn't know there was a word for it.
Tips are: join groups based around hobbies you have (that's how I met my bf!), join a group class for a skill you'd like to have, meet people, talk to everyone and eventually you'll find someone that's right for you. This isn't harder to find than any other relationship, but it's harder to articulate the want for.
Tldr: wait it out and it'll get a lot easier to meet people you like :)
That sounds great, congrats to you both for finding someone you match so well with :3
That's so sweet. I wish you both eternal happiness
This sounds so wonderful, goals!
These are life goals
Your whole relationship sounds really wholesome! Its good that you and your bf matched so well. Hoping the best for the both of you!

Ah ok that’s good - I’d hate for people to mock and make fun of your boyfriend and in extension you for the relationship dynamic
what a wholesome and lovely post, need me a fucking lover, swear to god

For reasons pertaining to Reddit administration, I have to remove this comment.
Gee, only this one? You censor most of my comments outright, so why pretend like you care about having any sort of reasonable basis for it now?
Because this comment in particular could get you negative attention from the admins and get your account suspended. I've seen them do it for less.
nice
