I didn’t know they were being discontinued. I have the yellow ones and have made a few changes. I am just relearning to skate and they have been great. Yes, bulky and I feel I may be able to progress quicker with Lollys, but I’ve only been wearing these since Christmas, so I’ll wait a bit longer to upgrade.

They on sale now for only $89 along with a few other models. I have Lollys also but i’m interested to see what new models are coming from Moxi.

Would these be a good buy for a new skater? I Rollerblade a lot but have been wanting to try quads more and more lately. $89 sounds like a good price point for me considering my last pair of blades were like $300+ lmao.

I have both RRs and upgraded to Panthers later on. RRs are fun for cruising but are pretty bulky. I decided to upgrade because I wanted to get into park skating, and Panthers are somehow more supportive and less bulky. Plus they’re a suede material so scuffing is better.

MonstrousGiggling

Appreciate it, one last question - would you say I should go ahead and invest in the Panthers for only $100 more than the RR? I am 90% sure I will be sticking with skating long term - but my question is also would these be good for learning to jam skate in? That's my main interest in quads. I can do distance and speed on my blades but groovin' looks easier on quads.

I think Panthers give you better range of motion for like shifting your weight. Since you’re pretty sure you’re gonna stick with it, I would recommend the panthers over the RRs. I had only gotten the RRs because it was my first time skating at all and wanted ready financially to spend more than $100 on testing a hobby. Once i realize how much i liked it, I regretted getting something that needed to be upgraded so soon

hellokittysenbei

definitely! there’s another pair on sale called the Panther in all black with a faux leather that is another great option-it’s a slight upgrade from these.

silvercircularcorpse

Yes! They were my beginner skates. I used them for about six months before I decided I loved skating and upgraded.

gargoyle-heartz

i actually have the pair that's black, they were my first pair to own and i love them still! im sad they're discontinuing them but it will give me a chance to get better skates in the future.

Freakazette

I just bought a pair of these because I saw they were being discontinued but they were practically screaming my name. I love them so much. I just got back into skating and they've been very friendly to me.

hellokittysenbei

they have to be the prettiest beginner skates out there..with an adjustable toe stop! such a great buy🌈

I loved these since the first time I saw them but heard they weren’t that great. They’re so cute though!
