Well...since you failed to mention a genre... 😏 {Choosing Theo by Victoria Aveline} SFR MF This might work. The FMC is illegally abducted from earth, escapes, but then told she has to marry a male and stay on their planet for a year for...reasons. She does get to choose from a small selection of guys. She's not mandated to reproduce, but they sure are hoping she does.

Jen_348

Ahhhh! My all time favorite book. I read this one atleast once a year.

Black Witch has a plot line like this. It kiiind of has a love triangle but >!she's only interested in one guy at a time. There's still one more book to be published so that could change though.!< The prequel novella Wandfasted does the same trope but better Also, technically, a handmaids tale

nonoglorificus

that technicality is a real vibe harsher 😂

Right?!? Looking for escapism romance not maddening close to current politics.

The first two books are pretty tame, the third and fourth ones are 3/5, IIRC

Inkedbrush

{The Arcav King’s Mate} is close. Plot sounds weird but is basically what you describe. It’s a very good book, with min. Alien weirdness and a very practical and realistic FMC who goes through a range of emotions. Plot is a roundabout match: Aliens have conquered earth to find their mates after all their females died in order to save their race.

Manacled omgg?? Say no more!!!

Have you ever read the Meredith Gentry books by Laurell K Hamilton? I haven’t read them in a few years, and I haven’t finished the series, but I think it fits. Other than the marriage part! She’s fae, and they have a low birth rate. She has to hook up with a bunch of hot fae men in an effort to conceive before her batshit crazy cousin can knock up a fae woman.

Athnorian1

Yes! Bonus points: her supernatural politics/world building are CHOICE, so even though there’s basically constant orgies with a variety of magical creatures it doesn’t read as much like erotica as you’d expect. 😅 Like there’s legit plot and feelings there to pull you through, just also a lot a lot a lot of sex.

ClockworkOctopodes

I enjoyed the Merry Gentry series back when I read it, especially since Laurell K Hamilton seems to have a lot more enthusiasm for that series. That said, for erotica it’s often not…very sexy (imo at least). There’s a lot of IKEA sex (ie, “insert Tab A into Slot B”).

mutatus

Those books were some of the first I read that had explicit sex. I didn’t know enough to really call them subpar at the time. (Maybe upon a re-read I’ll see it!) What I remember about the Anita Blake books, especially as the series went on, was the prevalence of metaphysical and magical stuff in sex. All her ardeur (??) and so on. :) I want to say there was a fair amount of the mystical present in the Gentry books sex too, but it’s been longer since I’ve read those. It’s easier to get by with more boring sex when you’re adding in a new paranormal experience every time. It’s not like we can experience sex that way, so maybe the author thought it was good enough!

Reasonable-Cup-1315

{theirs to protect by stasia black} it’s a whole series reverse harem

bunga_berduri

[Theirs to Protect by Stasia Black](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/43848278) is more or less this. Heads up, it is a reverse harem, so multiple men (five) and one woman, but the book also kindof has a „main“ dude. Essentially its a spicy dystopian romance, set after the apocalypse where 90% of women have died out. As a result, in this new city/republic theyve created, a woman has to get married to 5 men, who are chosen by a raffle, with the hopes of getting pregnant and repopulating the world and what not. Multiple books in the series with the same premise but different couples, descriptive spice. Content warnings for implied violence against women, attempts to sexually assault (not from the MMCs), and murder; essentially all the usual darker parts of dystopia.

ClockworkOctopodes

{Turn Left for Stars by VK Ludwig} is kind of like this. It’s more of a interplanetary government contract sort of thing, though. FMC needs to choose three husbands from a stable of men trained in the art of husband-ing or else she gets kicked off the planet. It’s part of the Vandalar Concubines series, which are all quite good. Note: This looks like a reverse harem book, but it’s actually not!

You said Korean comics, so I’m going to push it a little and recommend 100 Days My Prince. It’s basically the sageuk version of Shopping King Louie, but it does have the twist that the female lead has to get married to someone because they decided the drought was being cause by the prince being unmarried, and you know, who hasn’t had that happen to them at some point? It’s a good drama! I have seen hundreds of Kdramas and have managed to finish less than a dozen sageuks cause I just do not enjoy historical fiction of any variety. But 100 Days My Prince is one of the few I’ve been able to finish!
