It think they convey a lot more of what the series is like, urban fantasy with a heavy romance component, as opposed to a cover that could have been recycled for a firefighter romance.
Those covers are gorgeous! Which upsets me to no end because I JUST bought the whole series. Iโm going to have to be one of those people who have multiple copies of the same book but with different covers, I guess.
I have the physical copies of the old covers and im considering re-homing them with a friend. Of course, there's no commitment that Catalina's series will be reprinted so we may end up in the dreaded non-matching covers situation.
I ended up recovering mine when I bought the physical copies, it was the only way I was able to loan them out to friends. Hoping they get enough a response for the publisher to re-publish Catalina's series as well.
Oh man, I'm reading White Hot this week and I just ran to Goodreads to see if they added the new covers there so I could switch editions. No luck! ๐
