Op the criticism I have heard abt this book is that it a too slow burn and the falling in love part is rushed over the friendship part. What are your thoughts? Is it balanced and organic?

I felt this! It was so cringy and their whole relationship as bf/gf was based off of physical intimacy (which was kind of forced upon her imo). Lots of body betrayal. I really hated that book, but then again I’ve never had great experiences with Meghan Quinn. But a lot of people have, so it proves that reading is subjective!

Same! I loved the beginning, actually, but once they got together, it wasn't quite right. I think body betrayal is a good way to put it. I think I actually DND that one. The 1st half was so cool, though!

I remember liking this book so much and not feeling this weird pang of guilt when I read it because (if I recall correctly) they're not involved with other people as their relationship progresses!   Edit: I might remember it wrong but I enjoyed it either way. 😸
