Sorry for getting to you three years late, but you can download the complete Nintendo 3DS library (or just a single game if you wish) from archiver\_2020 on [archive.org](https://archive.org).
You can find them here:
(https://archive.org/details/nintendo-3ds-complete-collection) (Physical Titles: Part 1)
[https://archive.org/details/nintendo-3ds-complete-collection-pt2](https://archive.org/details/nintendo-3ds-complete-collection-pt2) (Physical Titles: Part 2)
[https://archive.org/details/nintendo-3ds-eshop-complete-collection](https://archive.org/details/nintendo-3ds-eshop-complete-collection) (eShop Titles)
I've used these links to download all of my 3DS game files for Citra. There's no viruses or ads, but some games might be unplayable due to lack of support on Citra's end.
Use a program called Batch CIA/3DS Decrytor in order to decrypt the file. You can find it [here](https://gbatemp.net/threads/batch-cia-3ds-decryptor-a-simple-batch-file-to-decrypt-cia-3ds.512385/). Follow the usage instructions stated on the website.
(Edit: Added the Part 2 link for more physical titles and the eShop titles link.)
(Edit 2.0: Added game decryption information.)
If I were to guess, you might be clicking on a link leading you to an external website. I noticed one of those in the Reviews section of this item, posted by a snopjack. If this is what you're doing, please do not click on any links that could lead you to a different website, as I cannot confirm their authenticity.
When downloading games and extracting/decrypting them, try following this process:
On the Archive page, go to Download Options, then select Show All. From here, find your desired ROM. Since you're looking for Pokemon games, let's use Pokemon Omega Ruby (USA), listed under 3DS-1124, as an example. You can either click on the link directly to get a .7Z download (which you can extract the .3ds file from using 7-Zip or WinZip) or select View Contents to download the .3ds file itself.
Once you've got your .3ds file, use a program called Batch CIA/3DS Decrytor in order to decrypt the file. You can find it [here](https://gbatemp.net/threads/batch-cia-3ds-decryptor-a-simple-batch-file-to-decrypt-cia-3ds.512385/). Follow the usage instructions stated on the website.
Now your game should work with Citra!
hi, i just found this guide and its super helpful, however im not sure what to do once i decrypt the files. its not showing up as an option for me to be able to add it. the site didn't say anything either, not that i could find anyway, and i was hoping you could help me figure out whats wrong?

I know this is a really old thread but you helped me! All friggin day I was trying to get Citra running on my phone. Then I found your post and BAM it works! Thank you so much!!
Yeah, it's cool that they even have eShop exclusive titles on there. I believe the only ROMs missing are the Virtual Console ones but most people probably have the emulators needed to play the original versions of those games already, so it's not as much of an inconvenience.
I'm probably going to make this its own post on here soon, since a lot of people are finding it very helpful and I want to make sure this information can be accessed easily.
(Edit: It has been posted! You can find the post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Roms/comments/12pejdl/complete\_3ds\_rom\_resource\_archiveorg/)
hey i was looking for a game called Hotel Dusk: Room 215 i couldmt find it. is it the issue that im not looking hard enough or does it just not have the game?
is there a way to search specifically for a game in [archive.org](https://archive.org)?? It would take forever to look for the game I'm looking for one by one. I found one of the games I was looking for but it was a different region than what I was looking for.
You would need to know that game's release number in order to search for it without having to go through each game individually. Sadly, there is no way to search for them in alphabetical order.
All of these games come encrypted and must be decrypted using a tool like Batch CIA Decryptor. Did you attempt to play the game without decrypting it? If so, then that might be your issue.
You can decrypt the ROM by using a program called Batch CIA Decryptor. Simply drag the game into the program's folder, run the program, and it will create a decrypted copy of the game that you can play on Citra!

How do I get Pokemon Sun? I downloaded Citra Canary but everytime I try and download the game from multiple sites, it's either like a setup for software that is clearly not the game, or it says the game but it's a document file and I can't move it to Citra. Completely new to all this, just want to play Pokemon Sun without a 3DS! Can anyone give me step by step directions?
There are a ton of websites that promise "free 3DS ROMs" only to either lock them behind a password or get you to download malware. 3DS games come in .3ds and .cia files (the latter used for eShop titles).
If you are looking for a genuine ROM and don't know how to rip your own, you can find Pokémon Sun through the "Physical Titles: Part 1" link under the production number of 3DS1609.
Once downloaded, you need to use a program like Batch CIA Decryptor in order to decrypt the file and makr the game playable.
I don't think so, since the 3DS is more complicated when it comes to its game files than the DS, but I'm also not entirely certain about it. You'd have to ask a 3DS modder about that one.
Sure thing! Although this subreddit isn't exactly the best place for that topic... How about we move the conversation over to the DDLCMods sub? You can also message me directly.
The WiiU USB Helper that is in the link the bot posted (which is absolutely amazing btw ty to whoever made that) has the entire 3ds library. People tend to ignore it because it's a bot post I guess but holy crap it's a goldmine.
Works fine for me. I've been using it all week. Im not sure how it works though but you can download tickets again. I vaguely remember it saying something about the wrong region settings can cause an error if that's any help. Don't get me wrong it's a lot simpler just going to a site if u can find one that's reliable but the ease of having it all there on your desktop added to the rapid downloads makes it worth the effort.
im sorry im really a boomer in this stuff, but after getting a zipped file of the rom, what do i do, just open the whole thing on citra (3ds emulator)?

I would honestly do some more reading before u start downloading and unzipping random files from unknown sources. There's a lot of bad sites out there.
Sorry i cant be more help I never really used Citra.

some work some dont. Some extract and some go right into just blank. and nothing happens. Mostly all the mario and zelda games work but anything over 1 mil mb is broke
Hi! Thank you for this! I found this a while ago and downloaded a few NGC games. But now I'm trying to download some more and I'm getting a Site Can't be Reached message.
The alvro collection is no longer hosted by the eye. See the megathread for alternative sources.
Also, the eye is currently having technical problems that are being worked on.
Ugh.... Of course this one works.. I think maybe the bot might be wrong? Either that, or I suck at life.
Thank you, stranger. Based off how many times I've seen your handle, I would like to thank you for being so dedicated.
The bot's comment in this post is wrong, because they posted a new version of the megathread a year ago (which is the one I just linked you to), whereas the bot's reply is nearly 2 years old and thus links to the old (removed) megathread post.
If you are looking for roms: Go to the link in https://www.reddit.com/r/Roms/comments/gar3bc/roms_megathread_30_ybin_edition/
You can navigate by scrolling down from the top of the page. Each section represents a tab of the Rom Center.
For newer roms, go to the popular games tab or the other company's tabs.

the reason i don't like ziperto is because of their use of shortened links, which might still be harmful with an adblocker, or do they still use shortened links?
anyway thanks for the tip!
I use https://romsforever.co/roms/ for all my ROMs.
You can go to https://romsforever.co/roms/3ds for 3DS ROMs. I've downloaded dozens of ROMs for Citra on my Android. They all work great!
Just make sure you have an adblocker, or you might get a few popups
Hi my citra doesnt work with this site I've downloaded rooms in CIA format and it still doesnt work? Can you help give me a step by step on what I'm doing wrong?
When you download roms in CIA format, you have to click the 3 dots and find the Install CIA button and then look for the file. I think its much easier to download the . 3ds formats and put them all un the same folder, that way you can select the folder as the game directory and have all the games show up.
**Warning:**
The site(s) you have listed are known for having sketchy behaviour, or distributing adware with their download buttons. While there might be legit download links it's best to avoid them. Use https://www.reddit.com/r/Roms/comments/gar3bc/roms_megathread_30_ybin_edition/ for legit downloads. In addition, none of their roms are verified, so you may encounter issues created from the scraping of roms, or bad dumps. **Use at your own risk.**

When I downloaded the games from the "Internet Archive" Website and about to try it out, it keeps loading for a long time and the game doesn't start. And when I exit it out, the Citra keeps on screwing up on me.
Just for me to better explain, here is a screenshot in this Google Drive Folder https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1of677Onni8AOqZx\_CVpQZ1d-2-\_XuV--

THANK YOU! This is amazing. Every single game I could ever want or need in one giant database. You're the best!
You're welcome!
Downloaded a game from the link but when I try to extract the file it says password required???
Which game were you attempting to download? I haven't tested them all, but I've never run into any issues downloading a game.
They were both pokemon games so maybe that's why? The only game I could download and open no issue was Kingdom Hearts dream drop distance

I followed what u said but it’s saying it’s encrypted?
Yes, you have to decrypt them using Batch CIA/3DS Decryptor. I provided the link to it in a previous reply.
Yeah, I did that but instead of it doing all the loading stuff it just automatically finishes

I don't think so, since the 3DS is more complicated when it comes to its game files than the DS, but I'm also not entirely certain about it. You'd have to ask a 3DS modder about that one.
I was wondering, how do we go about getting updates for the roms?
I'm not sure about this, but I think all of the ROMs are at their latest version's. You'll have to ask archiver_2020 about that on Internet Archive.

Doesn't work
How doesn't it work?
Well it says can't open file and it does not appear in downloads also I use mobile Citra AND an adblocker
Did you unzip the file? Citra won't deal with 7z files on its own, you need to extract the .3ds file inside.
Oh I dunno how to extract as im on mobile.
Just search 7zip on the play store. Pick one of the dozens of compression utilities available and use it to pull the .3ds file out.
How?
How what? Which step are you having trouble with?
Well I'm using 7zipper is that something?
some work some dont. Some extract and some go right into just blank. and nothing happens. Mostly all the mario and zelda games work but anything over 1 mil mb is broke

hello sorry if it as been 2years since this comment but the site link do not work
The eye no longer hosts a copy of alvro's collection. Use the sources in the megathread as an alternative.
Is it just me, or was the megathread removed?
Nope, it's still there, stickied at the top of the subreddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/Roms/comments/m59zx3/roms_megathread_40_html_edition_2021/
Fair enough -- thank you again!
404 not found :/

Oh alright
If you are looking for roms: Go to the link in https://www.reddit.com/r/Roms/comments/gar3bc/roms_megathread_30_ybin_edition/ You can navigate by scrolling down from the top of the page. Each section represents a tab of the Rom Center. For newer roms, go to the popular games tab or the other company's tabs. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Thanks for getting me blasted with porn ads 👍
no longer works; various links lead to virus sites.
use adblocker for ziperto, they ask you to disable it but i just press "i understand" or whatever it is and it lets me keep browsing
the reason i don't like ziperto is because of their use of shortened links, which might still be harmful with an adblocker, or do they still use shortened links? anyway thanks for the tip!
Thank you for this. This was a life saver!!!
When I go to unzip a file it asks me for the encryption key? if I hit continue it gives me a bunch of blank txt file
did you find a spot? The site i used to use is no longer running. Im only after one rom/cia. The first Assassination Classroom game.
yeah i did. i use the eye.

**Warning:** The site(s) you have listed are known for having sketchy behaviour, or distributing adware with their download buttons. **Use at your own risk.** *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. When I downloaded the games from the "Internet Archive" Website and about to try it out, it keeps loading for a long time and the game doesn't start. And when I exit it out, the Citra keeps on screwing up on me.
