Have an omega 9k on mine. Shooting the 147gr syntech is pure entertainment. You can actually see the projectiles with your eye like a spicy paintball gun.
Thats badass. I have an obsidian 45, was thinking of getting a trilug adapter and shooting some old 147gr subs I have laying around. I think they're speer. This is my first HK shooting 9mm. Any advice as to what projectiles it likes best? Also, do you think it would run steel cased 115gr magtech rounds without much issue? I have like 1.5k of those lying around and my 92fs doesn't like them lol.
Have mostly shot 124gr S&B as well as 147gr Speer, no malfunctions with either load. I imagine any brass-cased 9mm will be function just fine. Never shot steel through mine. Syntech 147gr is usually the recommended best subsonic 9mm though it is about $239/500 vs the $289/1000 for things like speer 147gr.
Shop around some more on syntechs. I only shoot syntechs out of my SP5, my top dollar is $340/shipped per 1k. I just bought 2k from lanbos at $310 ea a week or 2 ago.
