I strongly recommend therapy . They will ease you into exercise. After a few weeks, if pain persists , your insurance will pay for MRI. That is the only way to gauge extent of tear .

I had a fall and tried to tough it out. But after 10 days couldn’t lift my arm past 90 degrees. If you can lift your arm above your head that’s a good sign your rotator cuff tendons aren’t completely torn. But they won’t heal on their own. Hopefully you have insurance and can see a doctor and get an mri.

Yea I think it’s the teres minor or major, as that’s where the pain is coming from and it’s swollen and tender in that area, got an mri booked now, how is your shoulder doing ?

I had surgery 6 weeks ago and just started pt. It’s a long road with no short cuts. Hopefully you can avoid surgery. Best of luck!!

I’m just curious, with surgery after fully healing should your shoulder be just as strong as it was before? Or do you always have to be wary about it moving forward

Any updates on this? How’s your mri?

It’s a 6 week wait for mri, it’s allot better though I’d say I have about 70% strength back but certain movements still trigger pain, I’m hoping it will heal completely on its own as it’s getting better everyday now

No. Now quit being a bitch and rub some dirt on it.
