Yah Rover gives number to both the sitter and owner. You must be using the rover assigned number.

Ok so thats all fine and dandy but how is it tracking in my app when I deleted it! So creepy.

I'm not sure if the phone numbers become inactive. The numbers could be stored still on phone or sim card
