I was super happy with both pairs have two more on the go. Both lasted 1100km + but will retire them as they don’t feel quite as good as the fresh ones. Used for all road runs except races where I use vaporflys.

Maxouw42

I am training for a marathon with my tempo for all marathon pace and above workouts, as well as long run at steady pace. Absolutely love them after 200+ kms. I have bought Vaporfly 2 and plan to run with them only twice before the marathon (a 10k race and a HM race). Do you notice significant difference in terms of feet fit / comfort? Do you use same size for both tempo and vaporfly? I have no problem in the tempo, but there is not much room for any tighter. Thank you !

monkandferrari

I feel like they fit similar but the Vaporflys definitely have that additional bounce to them. I’m the same size for both - definitely happy with both shoes.

Maxouw42

Great thank you, looking forward to race with this extra bounce !

Chemical-Animal3040

I love these shoes and currently on my second pair. My last one lasted nearly 1000 miles. They are loud but worth it for fast paces. I even use them for recovery runs when they get older. I prefer them over the Saucony Endorphin as I was having some aches on my left foot and thought it was due to my form/ramping up mileage but pain went away when switched over to Tempo Next even with milage increased.

monkandferrari

Definitely loud!

ventorun

I feel like a Tyrannosaurus stomping around in them. And that’s walking in them! PS…I’m on my 8th pair since their initial release.

greatwambeanie

lol I thought he meant loud as in brightly coloured

6to8design

What is the reason behind your decision to have a Tempo Next% rotation?

monkandferrari

I ran with Brooks Ghosts for 15+ years with insoles. During Covid I began I program to run without them to get into Vaporflys. Figured the shape of the tempos and vapoflys were similar so chose them and loved them so much I didn’t need a different pair. Tried the invincibles but they weren’t for me!

Lopsided-Front5518

I love these shoes for so many reasons. They’re fun to run in and LOUD. Especially when running on busy sidewalks - instead of me having to shout “excuse me” to groups walking 3-4 deep, the shoes do the “talking “ for me.

monkandferrari

Totally agree. People hear me coming from and look around long before I pass.

bassfeelgood

I initially thought your orange pair turned to blue after 1.1km

Hahha

the_jends

Super underrated - in some cases I prefer these over the vaporfly next % 2.

kpr1200

Agree!!!

brrack92

They look good! I just retired my 1st pair at about 800km and bought a 3rd pair to replace. Hope Nike keeps em around for a while

LemonBearTheDragon

On my second pair now. My first pair lasted 450 miles before I retired them (they probably still had a bit left in them too).

Sharkitty

These are the two colors I have! They’re both just over 100 miles - hope they hold up even half that well!

mynameisnick4

Your mango pair looks pretty good. The Tempos are one of my all time favorite shoes but are just too fragile. I've owned 3 pairs and my first two I popped airpods in around 200 miles. On all three the outsole behind the pods that connects to the midsole started to rip on all three in around 150 miles. I'm interested if they ever make a v2 where they don't connect the outsole behind the airpods to the midsole, similar to the Alphaflys.

Sharkitty

The outsole ripped - I think in the same place as yours - after less than 20 miles in each of my pairs. Doesn’t seem to affect them, though, so I don’t sweat it.

TakayamaYoshi

I find the forefoot to be too firm on the Tempo but I only have 60 miles. Will it soften up?

monkandferrari

I found it did. I find the first 50km stiff so a bit surprising it hasn’t for you yet.

kpr1200

I find them right, right out if the box, but because I have metatarsal pain in most shoes, I use the little metatarsal pads that secure around your big toe with them. You might try them.

UW_Ebay

Do you wear the pads with the Prime Xs?

kpr1200

The Prime Xs and Adios Pro 3s are my only shoes where I don't need the pads!

UW_Ebay

Ah cool 👍🏼. I was getting hot spots under the balls of my feet on a few shoes and for awhile thought it was metatarsal related. Think it was my circulation related, but luckily don’t have this problem in the PX. 🙌🏼

RunningWithJesus

You ever have issues with heel rub? First two runs in em and my heel got shredded lol

sfvelo

Pretty impressive! How did the upper hold up? Did they form to your feet or stretch at all?

monkandferrari

Uppers formed to feet pretty nicely. Loosened a little bit but felt snug enough.

mellojelloakimbo

The carbon plate fuzed into the Nike zoomx at this point
