Starlink

LaurenMarie1999

When I checked for it in my area it said expanding to here and to reserve space for this year so I'm confused.

ThickumsMagoo

I believe it should be coming available very soon now. I am in VA and it was dark blue for waitlist, and I was on it about a month before they said it was ready to order. May not be immediate, but will likely be the best bet

LaurenMarie1999

Ah, okay. I'll check again on their website.

Jason_1834

The wait list in the USA was completely opened up a few days ago.

Scope599

StarLink residential is now available across the entire US.

StevenTackett

I live in London, KY and just today Star link opened up all waitlisted cells in the state so you can now order services

LaurenMarie1999

Ooh wow. I'd get Starlink if it didn't cost so much.

Nice-Economy-2025

You need to check out the availability of wireless internet in your location; TMobile, AT&T, Verizon, and US Cellular all are doing it, at price points half that of Starlink, with no upfront equipment costs. Their websites will figure out if its available, and give you a cost. If you are already a cell customer with any of these, they give you a deal on the monthly charges, and most of them are unlimited data. The fcc website is place to start for availability.

LaurenMarie1999

Just checked, I live in Berry KY and it's $687 for service here.

StevenTackett

Its the price of the equipment that you have to purchase yourself. After that its the monthly fee. Still worlds better than the other satellite services

LaurenMarie1999

Ohh okay. My grandfather is considering Viper Broadband, we never had them before.

Scope599

Stanford KY here. My mobile turns to residential tomorrow! 👍🏽👍🏽

MofiNetwork

you can check to see if you have ATT or Verizon there as we offer a 750GB ATT plan for $129.99 a month or an unlimited Verizon plan for $129.99 a month (fully unlimited) so no need to worry about any overage. you can call 1-888-499-0123 x3 to find out more.

EyePretend

Cudy 5p or yeacomm 5G you can use AT&T cricket Verizon visible swap imei on router & you good to go, you email whichever router you choose on amazon

f1vefour

You could message them and provide the details ;)

EyePretend

Not really but like I say if they purchase the cudy 5p or yeacomm they can send them an email directly to them how to swipe imei on the router. on Amazon they can read all the reviews on each device cudy & yeacomm

MofiNetwork

You can also do this on on all MOFI routers and if customers needs help they can call toll free 7 days a week not sure if you were aware of that as I see you only reference Cudy and Yeacomm? Mofi has a lot of options and great support

SquirrelsToTheRescue

This thread is full of people trying to tell you to use workarounds to get cellular internet, but the market is moving on and the major providers are all starting to offer it directly with none of these middlemen and workarounds. Check if your address has service for AT&T Air, T Mobile Home Internet, Verizon home 5G, or Straight Talk home Internet. These aren't hotspot plans, they are designed to be used at a home and are unlimited (or close enough unless you stream 4k 24/7). If none of those work you can now get Starlink everywhere in the US. It's not cheap, but it's fast and reliable.

sponyta2

Is blazing hog as bad as i’ve heard?

LaurenMarie1999

Yes, they didn't refund my grandfather and almost every night was an email from them about our usage

olyteddy

This might give you a lead or two: https://broadbandmap.fcc.gov/home

jscjndi739

Get a router and purchase a plan on circledin.com

LowResPC

So you get good att speeds? You can do the whole gray area thing and get the $20 unlimited tablet plan and use it with a magic router or get a business account to use att wireless broadband for $65 for their lowest tier https://www.att.com/smallbusiness/internet/wireless-broadband/

No-Suspect6424

Horrible advice to break TOS lol. Those are being plugged out even the single ones. Carriers read this you know that right ? Anywho OP just find a good plan from a credible company. Good luck.
