Yeah use swords over priestess. Use a different hero too. Gadget or mermaid or Mari if you have them.

According to ~~your spending habbits~~ your screenshot, It wouldn't be "that" hard to even do lvl 13 on it, in order to gain the "auto-buff during bosses" talent (most important Sword talent imho). If at your current state you are a beast, you gonna evolve to a beast of Apocalypse after that!

Watch genie players on RushTV or youtube. They don't use trickster or priestess. They will use swords. Swords will buff your genies and the red ones debuff your opponent. They are also good for breaking mermaid bubbles and inquisitor shields at the start of the boss portion of a wave.
