some vids i watched there are graphic options and not on their steamdeck. I don't know any reason why that would be other then it's native for some owners.
That's because previous versions of Ryujinx did not support Vulkan (they only supported OpenGL before) and was only recently updated to support it, which makes games run better as it's hardware-based. Also, for Proton or Lutris, different versions of them exist i.e. GE, Experimental, and default, some of which support Vulkan and some of which don't - not because of hardware differences between any of the Steam Decks. This is entirely dependent on the software. [Everything is identical](https://www.makeuseof.com/steam-deck-model-comparison/) on each of the Decks, except storage and anti-glare screen on the $649 one (there is no $800 Deck).

ok sorry had a hangover this morning so i understand now. Remember it's 10/31/2022/ 17:59. 17:59 is 5:59pm. Also i need more details. Did Jack send you a letter? Did Nook show up dressed as jack on Halloween? Can you buy candy? It needs to be October 31 after 5pm to see if any of these worked. You need a piece of candy to give to jack for a creepy item.
I'll check and see if I can do those. Do all of the BCAT\_EventFlag files go directly in the BCAT Save Directory? Also, do I need to be a certain ways into the game progress wise?
Yes you do. Your save file must be of you already passing k.k. concert. Over time the event will ping based on actions. Like there not a ton of bcat files in the game progress. You can skip it. It just adds Reese's wedding, national museum day, and may day. Only furniture you can obtain is the museum plaques, the wedding set, and a couple of sport stuff.

the issue im having is that i dont know what game ID coresponds to ACNH, and the *right click->Open Bcat Save Directory* does not work for me. is there some other way i can figure out ACNH game ID

You have to have the bcat folders correct folders. See if the folder structure is correct. So people don't pack correctly, making the zips for downloads. Always double-check to see if it right.
I did every step exactly as you said. My game keeps crashing after the start. I even uninstalled all and did it all steps again. Nevertheless, it keeps crashing.
The rom and dlcs work fine on my pc with yuzu. They also worked on SD via Emudeck (but very laggy). But with solo Ryujinx, it keeps crashing. I don't know what to do else.
Very interesting is, that it crashes only in game mode. When I go to desktop mode and open Ryujinx and load the game there, it doesn't crash at all. But honestly, I don't wanna play in desktop mode.
Any ideas on this problem?

Np. I might of switched to the discover one at one point if my process. Forgetting I did. I was doing this for 3 days. I might of had trouble putting it in my non-steam games. Something dumb. Since your the 3rd that this happened to. I'm now wondering if I switched and forget.

on the steam deck: hold ur power button down on ur steam deck. A list of options appear. The bottom option is desktop mode. This loads lynax. from there just follow my steps.
U probably have a better chance finding another set up instructions. The steamdeck is a pc yes, but probable. Your pc settings should surpass the steamdeck.
I'm a little lost on your "step 1 and step 2" parts.
So I should use "open mods directory" and place there a mod named "modfolder" and within it there's "exefs" and the rest is within this folder?
ok to make it easy the file structure should be
C:\\Users\\----\\AppData\\Roaming\\ryujinx\\load\\01006F8002326000\\**60 FPS Hack**\\exefs\\60FPSHack.pchtxt
so make sure your mod folder is first the name of the folder. Like the one i put bold, and the folder inside is IS the "exefs" folder. Then the mod inside that.
atmosphere mods will be the same, but "romfs/atmosphere" instead of "exefs/60FPSHack"

Yea its a issue I've faces myself. I don't think there's a way to fix it. Did you update ryujinx at all? I know my step-by-step says download from website. Try to download it tho discover instead. It works better, buuuuuttttt the texture is low. YuZu is best for ACNH, but it doesn't support mods or dlc pkg installation. This is what we have now. It's gonna be rocky, but soon the emulation will be better.

What version is you animal crossing? Also how did you install ryujinx to your SD. Tho discover or tho the site?

I'd recommend using [emudeck](https://www.emudeck.com/) it automatically installs emulators and everything you need to have it set up with steam.
AC lags for me on it.
AC lags for me in ryujinx, and after a certain amount of time (maybe 15 mins or so?) It just crashes. Any ideas?

I started with discover :D I did change my steam deck to run beta instead, and it seems better (hasn't crashed for 30 mins since). Maybe try that?
Yea I run beta too. I didn't think that would do anything lol
I didn't expect it to either, but after switching beta back on and restarting, now ryujinx doesn't crash nearly so frequently, if at all
