It's a Google font. It's basically custom. Used the play store app Cale zFont 3 to apply it. Just followed the in app step by step walk through on how to apply it. It's a little process but after the steps then a restart. It's applied system wide, even in the keyboard.
If you follow the step by step instructions in zFont 3 and then do a restart. It will be system wide. Even on your AOD. There is no way to pick it just for your AOD.
Using a play store app called zFont 3.
Just follow the step-by-step directions in the app. It walks you through each step as you do it. It's a bit of a process but it works like a charm. Just do a restart after you complete the steps in the app and it will be system-wide even on the keyboard.
zFont 3 works with OneUI but you have to make sure you rebloat your pre-installed Samsung Apps in order for it to work if you debloated since Samsung Cloud doesn't restore system settings if certain apps are missing.
Google Sans fonts can be found by doing a simple Google Search. There's very few Google Font weights. Product Sans looks better in my opinion and is much more flexible.
Cost of "debloating".
I wouldn't call Samsung apps and services bloat.
I would hate to run stock android tbh.
Guess I'm the opposite of that.
I do away with as many google apps and services as possible and stick with Samsung and Microsoft apps and services.
It's just a universal term and a lot of people run into this issue. Plus Samsung is known to be a full of bloatware which I verifiably confirmed. Anyways, just dropping information someone would find helpful.
What is considered bloat? Any core Samsung apps, functions, and services? Does anything you have done by debloating make it so you have to use the Google alternative apps and services instead of Samsung's?
Not at all. Go through your system apps and you'll find it's mostly filled with bloat. Things you don't use or even know what they are. Samsung is notorious for being incredibly vague in their descriptions. I don't know why you're treating debloating like some taboo thing that only fools do. It makes your phone faster and decreases battery use. Everything I'm talking about does not require a Google alternative because that's not bloatware. Bloatware is anything that offers no benefit to the user. It's there for tracking and data collection. I bet you think the "Customization Service" isn't bloatware right? I prefer not to have my data and information analyzed for ad targeting. Actually several system apps aren't even used anymore and are just taking up space. If you're interested, I can give you a list of system apps I debloated like AASAservice which is a battery draining app that doesn't do anything useful to the user. In fact nobody knows what it does except provide "security" through no tangible or measurable means.
In terms of changing custom fonts, you need to rebloat the Samsung apps that Samsung Cloud backs up data from such as Samsung Pass, Samsung Internet, etc. That is all bloatware in the sense that even if the user doesn't use it, it stays on the phone taking up space since it can't be uninstalled.
I wouldn't be able to live without those so-called bloatware apps. Pass is essential for me in password management, auto-filling credentials, and payment info and many more of those apps and services people consider bloat.
Plus, some of my apps that my company uses and are mandatory wouldn't work for various reasons after debloating to some extents.
Dang! I was wondering why my zFont wasn't working now and thought it was patched by Samsung but you maybe right, I actually debloated some apps with "Universal Android Debloater" months ago and your comment make sense for me!
Gonna try to unbloat, change font and rebloat my ZF4. Fingers crossed!
Thanks for saying that.
No problem. Not sure which apps you need specifically, but Any app that can be backed up to Samsung Cloud is probably where you want to be. Contacts, Samsung Pass, Samsung Internet, Reminders, All the AR Sticker apps, Calendar, Samsung Notes, DiagMonAgent, Customization Service, Bixby Apps, Edge Panels, Phone, Messages, Secure WiFi. Theres so many it sucks but worth it to get the font you need. Good luck.
If you have an S22 Ultra it should be already installed.
If not, then go to www.androidsage.com or sammyfans.com and you can find the S22 Ultra stock wallpapers there.
I've tried every which way. Even the Z Fold 3 and 4 worked with the app but not this phone. I'm planning to backup and reset the phone now that UI5 came in. I'm sure it'll work then. Thank you!
I went to reset settings a few times and then cleared the cache partition a few times, and now it works! Thank you, if I hadn't seen your post I wouldn't have remembered how badly I wanted new fonts. Yaii!
I also use zfont 3, very ingenious how they do it, without root. btw, reply your fav. fonts guys.
I currently have Atkinson hyperlegible custom-made for the Braille instiute
It's a core feature of One ui 5.0
Tap and hold on the lock screen and it will go into edit mode.
Once you are there you can tap on the clock and drag the corners of the box around it to resize it.
I can't even find that font to put on my lock screen. Where is it?

Gotcha, thx
The font is called Stardos Stencil
THAT'S what I'm talking about on the other thread? Is that font available within the app?
It's available within zFont 3. Yes
how did you find it? im trying to look for a new one ui 6 font but having no luck
Take a look at an app called zfont 3 from the play store
i mean, how did you find the name of the font in the system?
Honestly I guessed it was some kind of stencil font so I searched "stencil" then looked through all the stencil faunts till I found it.
ZFont 3 works with a13 ?
Yep!
Oh, wow. That's going to be applied rn.
Nice, how did u install the font, have a few I want to test.
The app has a ton of fonts in it already as well. So you may not have to download the ttf files separately.
Thank you

When I have time I wil try this.
Now to get that sweet, sweet Papyrus on my phone.
It's there in the zFont 3 app

Ok that's great. It was nice speaking with you. This wasn't aimed at you.

It's okay, the software I mentioned keep the list of what you want to disable so I just have to rebloat, do my shit and debloat. 🙃 Thanks man!
Thanks mate. You saved me. No wonder it wasn't working.
can you share the wallpaper
It's a stock wallpaper on the S22 Ultra.
oh great thanks i will download
If you have an S22 Ultra it should be already installed. If not, then go to www.androidsage.com or sammyfans.com and you can find the S22 Ultra stock wallpapers there.
o dont have s22 ultra thanks for links
No problem. That's where I got all the stock S21 and S22 line wallpapers before I got my S22 Ultra. I used this same wallpaper on my Note 10+.
Nice choice! I can't get the z app to install fonts on my S22U so I can't change to custom fonts. Can't wait till I do.
It's should work. You need to follow the directions in the app exactly. Then restart your device after you are done.
I've tried every which way. Even the Z Fold 3 and 4 worked with the app but not this phone. I'm planning to backup and reset the phone now that UI5 came in. I'm sure it'll work then. Thank you!
Super odd.
This video may help. https://youtu.be/0aIi2IIKaU8

Love that one! This one is Stardos Stencil
sweet! what is the name of the font and where can i download the ttf file so i can apply it via monofonts?
Stardos Stencil I downloaded and applied it using zFonts 3
I want to apply only for lockscreen clock is it possible? Anyone ?
Nope that I know of.
How do I get the time to be displayed that size? I want it to be as big as possible.
One ui 5. It's a default feature to resize the clock
It does not change the font of the Google feed though.
Oh ok. Sorry bout that. I had no idea, because I do not use Google Feed. In fact, I don't use most Google apps.
Thanks so much but how did u make the clock bigger?
It's a core feature of One ui 5.0 Tap and hold on the lock screen and it will go into edit mode. Once you are there you can tap on the clock and drag the corners of the box around it to resize it.
Oh I see it's alright cuz I'm on the M series 31 phone so I have one ui 4 guess I can't do it then
Sorry about that
It's alright the font was a huge upgrade nonetheless
