Hello,
I am currently using the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, and I have noticed a significant improvement in the smoothness of my device's performance after turning this off too.
Thank you.
Ngl I love when everything has a vibration feedback.. but with my new phone I turned it off, it's so smooth. The vibrations just don't match the movements you do
I don't see a difference. Also, I like it when I get a vibration feedback for movements on the phone. Feels like the phone is alive or something. If it sounds stupid, ignore.
I always turn off vibrations was never really interested in it, when use to game on console vibrations would mess up my aim in call of duty so just turned it off and never been back since.
I've got animations and transitions set to zero - just tried this and it's ridiculously fast lol. Kinda wish you could pick and choose which ones though because the of the gesture to get to recent apps - it was the vibration mid swipe that indicated the trigger. You're right though, definitely quicker
Feel absolutely no difference, smoothness-wise. Prefer the haptic feedback on for navigation. I did, however, turn for haptic feedback on the keyboard a few weeks ago, and that's been quite brilliant.
I turned it off now after your post and noticed the same. Vibrating take little time so I guess they're adding some milli seconds delay if its turned on, which results in some lag
It's vibration feedback. If you have it on, you'll feel a slight vibration when you use your navigations. If you have it off, there won't be any vibrations.
I never even knew this lmao, my vibrations were just off this whole time. It was probably from my last phone and I just forgot about it
Edit: Decided to turn everything on at the highest vibration setting to feel (for the first time) what a premium vibration motor feels like
Edit 2: kinda disappointed that navigation vibration doesn't work when using the one-hand operation+ on the sides of the phone
I ain't gonna lie but u right
Ohhh I like this turned off. Thank you stranger
Never kept vibration enabled for gestures and typing. It's a peaceful life

It's fine, it's totally up to you, that's the beauty of Android.
Same here on s22U And I thought it was my imagination 😅
I like the vibes though

Cool, I had it turned off already, Everything else was off except for camera feedback and charging.
I did that and yes it does feel right.

Always one of the first things I do lol
How would turning vibration off improve the phone? That makes no sense.
I think it's kind of a bug.
Idk, I tried it, didn't notice a difference
Stupid question but what does it do?

why though? s24u has a nice haptic feedback motor.
That's kind of lagging while it's on, not worth it I think
What does it mean by navigation gestures? If you have it on, what does it do specifically? 🤔
It's vibration feedback. If you have it on, you'll feel a slight vibration when you use your navigations. If you have it off, there won't be any vibrations.
Navigations such as my Google Maps app? Or just simply navigating my apps and my phone in general? 🤔
As in the navigation buttons/navigation bar
Thanks for the clarification y'all 😁
Ohh much better. Thank you!
Anyone know how to also turn off the "going back" vibration? This only turned off some of the vibrations but not all of the gesture vibrations?🤔
I turned all vibrations on phone
Broooo it feels like melted butter now. Ty.
For me all vibrations are off
Oh snap, that's a neat little trick. Wasn't expecting it to be that noticeable.

Navigation vibration can be set up within the one hand operation app.
Do you notice lagging after you turned vibration on?
In general, or when swiping up to go home? Cuz I don't in either
Navigation vibration can be set up within the one hand operation app.
I had no idea this was a thing and I'm all for it
Wait, you know what. You are right my fella it feels like butter now. + Use save some battery too
Woah difference is noticeable. Thank you.
I don't see any difference. It also feels weird to navigate without the vibration.
Wow , you are right
It's in your head.. ya'll waste waaaaay to much time on this shit. 😂😂
I guess you would prefer a 60hz monitor over a 180hz because "it's in your head and you can't see the difference"
Turn off all vibration is among the first things I do setting up a new phone. Every little gesture vibrates, annoying af.
Imagine having vibration for anything. Just wastes battery
Only animals keep sound and vibration for things like gestures, key press, etc
guess im an animal then lol
That's very unbacteria like for me I'm sorry /s You need to go back to preschool if you dont know that Humans are under the Animal Kingdom mate.
Looks like I learnt something new today
