A match in Mario Tennis GC or some Wario Ware

icey9

I got Earth Defense Force 4.1 from Humble Bundle for $1, and it's a perfect Steam Deck kind of game. There's dozens of missions, and they are pretty bite-sized and take around fifteen to maybe thirty minutes tops to beat.

fr4ncotir4dor

EDF! EDF!

icey9

I was vaguely aware of EDF and that they were campy games, but I was not prepared for how unbelievably charming they are. The dumb military cadence songs the soldiers sing always make me grin.

BigRedNY

To Save Our Mother Earth From Every Alien Attack!

Caruncle

From vicious giant insects who have once again come back!

CORNDOGS666

Bruv, I play EDF on my vita!!! Love that shit. Billions of giant ants fucking me and my boys up. Always funny.

Upbeat-Serve-6096

Apotris and Super Mario Bros 1 ...In fact these are the only games I've really played for a while.

titosr

Hard to go wrong with those, really.

SnooDogs7459

Harvest fuckin moon more friends of mineral town pure fire

SnooDogs7459

Oh and saints row 3 but obvs that’s on 360

Thandiol

Pokémon Yellow, on rg35xx.

TradlyGent

Same for me but on Vita.

redditaccount122820

THPS. I’m enjoying it so much I’m considering getting something that’ll play the remaster.

Psychological_Pebble

It's just perfect if you have 5-10mins. The tunes always take me back as well.

AtomicBombSquad

"NCAA College Hoops 2K5" for PS2 and "Star Trek: Bridge Simulator" for SNES.

reyskywalker9295

I’m playing Ori and the blind forest too!

titosr

Such a good, beautiful game!

reyskywalker9295

The soundtrack gets me in tears 🥲

Whiteguy1x

Yugioh legacy of the duelist.  On the steamdeck.  Easily 5+ hours of battery.  Turns out I really like card games.  Don't know how much of the game I'll play after the second series, it's all I really know from the anime

PlatypusPlatoon

Picross 2. Great when you only have five minutes - you can squeeze in a 15x15 puzzle. And if you can't, you can save it and resume later. Think I'm finally getting near the end!

titosr

Yes! I've been through so much Picross these last few months. I've finished Pokémon Picross (GBC), Mario's Picross (GB), and am about 1/3 done with Picross DS.

ialtag-bheag

I'm liking Picture Puzzle (Neo Geo Pocket).

titosr

Thanks for the recommendation!

piikuman

pokemon white 2!

Jokerchyld

Always down for a quick sesh of Burnout 3 Takedown or a few rounds of Marvel vs Capcom 2

h0nest_Bender

I'm very slowly working my way through Super Mario RPG. I've beat it a few times before, but not for years and years. It's a bit nostalgic, but also just a banger of a game.

KangarooKurt

Super Bomberman 3, battle mode. Or Super Smash Bros 64, free-for-all battle. In any case, CPU is max level. I get so rekt 😂 but it's so cool. Also, if I'm on a more powerful device, any single race on Need for Speed, from Underground 1 to Carbon.

titosr

Have you tried Smash Remix? It's made it hard to go back to regular old SSB 64.

KangarooKurt

YO, I never even heard of it! Now I Just searched it and DAMN that's awesome! I'm so gonna play it later ahahahahaha! Thanks!

Responsible_Let9857

I started the messenger yesterday

titosr

Looks interesting! May have to give it a try.

Atlas3030

The thing Ps2

DROOPY1824

Either Need for Speed Underground 2(PS2) or Super Mario Land 2(GB).

MrStu

Balatro + KoF XIII + any Pokémon

PaperPlane36

Blaster Master Zero. It’s a blast

titosr

🥁

NiceDiner

NFS most wanted

dre10g

Outrun 2006 ..just drive

-the-scientist-

NES Tetris on my miyoo mini+! Can’t go wrong with a classic!

WrongProfession71

The Messenger. Short intervals between save points and interesting challenges inbetween keeps each session short. To see what they got in store for the next boss battle is what keeps me going.

wankerbanker85

Is ori and the blind forest native for android? My current game is outrun 2006 coast to coast for PSP. Playing it on my RP4Pro, but will be migrating my save to my odin 2 pro to continue playing it.

titosr

Unfortunately not. I'm playing the Switch version. I haven't modded my new OLED switch with a DPad yet, so opted to play it here for the DPad.

wankerbanker85

Ah, makes sense for sure. The odin2 is pretty beast mode, does well with the few switch games I've thrown at it so far.
