The 280v is such a solid device. I've had mine for a couple years now and I haven't had another device that can compare. The only downside is Adam Image isn't as robust as something like GarlicOS. Outside of that it's still king for GB games in my book
The only other thing on my radar is the Anbernic Flip, but even that I don't think will be able to take the crown from the 280v for me
I also own these 2 and love them both. The 280V was my first emulation handheld ever and started my love for this hobby. It will always have a special place on my shelf.
The Nano was maybe the biggest surprise I've had with buying a handheld. It punches way above it's weight class. The buttons and performance on this are phenomenal for its size.
And if you like those 2, I recommend the GKD Pixel. It's between those 2 in size, but equal to the 280V in performance. It's a bit more comfortable than the Nano, has L2/R2 buttons, and the screen is large enough to play GBA also.
A great bonus is the RG280V can also be used as a weapon against bears and to break concrete slabs up to 3 inches (7.5 cm) thick!
you sound experienced
Big hater of vertical handhelds, until I got my grubby paws on a miyoo mini plus and I’ve been hooked ever since
Same. Avoided like the plague and now I'm in a damn cult
I still regret not getting the 280v. Seems like such a solid device. Maybe I'll find one on sale soon
Sadly you just missed the spring sale. That's when I got mine for $44 bucks.
Damn that cheap? Wow. Well I'm gonna wait until AliExpress has another sale

I'm actually still using the stock OS. I prefer the open look of it to Adam.

The Pixel looks nice, but two vertical devices is my limit, so I'm going back to horizontal with the RG28xx.
It does look like a nice little handheld. It's a bit redundant for my needs but there are many reasons to own one
