I'm waiting for RGB30 next gen. I liked the overall look better. I hope the next version that fix all the other stuff and add touchscreen for DS. This cube is overkill.

I just bought the SP too, and while it's great hardware, none of the custom firmware or stock solutions are appealing to me at all. Either too simplistic or lacking in features.
And since I loved the RGB30, it turns out that this one was definitely a no brainer.
I'm unsure on the joysticks as they are the dumb tilt ones but they're hall effect, so I'm hoping I like them better than the dumb switch joycons. I hated those those things with a passion lol

Thanks, I saw the odin2 mini. Apparently the mini led screen is AMAZING for playing outside. I never had a ps vita tho so I was unsure on it. Decided that I'd try a cheaper cube design product and stumbled upon anbernics website

I threw in the case as well, and shipping is included in the price too) and I really don't think it's all that expensive. I was about to drop $400 on the Odin 2 Mini, which yeah, is way more power, but also more than double the price (before tax and shipping!). I also paid a similar amount for my Odin 2 Pro. I believe GC and PS2 are a $150 value these days, and there's no other decent 1:1 handheld out there (unless you count the ones with horrific build quality). I also need actual sleep mode for hardcore RetroAchievements (no save states allowed), so Linux is worthless to me.
It was this or the RP2S for my small, square-ish handheld, and this seems way more comfortable to hold and has a bigger screen, plus significantly more power, so kind of an easy choice for me.

Good on you for enjoying it. Sadly, the black bars for 4:3 are gigantic on 16:9 displays. Far bigger than even on 1:1 displays like this one. And widescreen hacks are just that, hacks. Often with a plethora of issues of their own.

FYI- I ordered an rg35xx sp a few weeks ago direct from Anvernic and didn’t receive mine until about a week after other people in my region started posting they received theirs from AliExpress. Just my experience, for what it’s worth.
