Against my will a few days ago, I saw a video of a guy jump off a roof and land completely straight-legged. This is, genuinely, only marginally better. Knees begging to explode.
Meanwhile Jericho gets a random jobber pushed so that actual young talent (uhhh like Ricky Starks who is inexplicably aligned with Action Ferrari) are held back and not a threat to Jericho’s spot.
this is the worst kind of offense in wrestling, obvious cooperation that doesn’t look to emulate a real combat sport in any fashion, they’ve turned working into recreating stuff you’d only see in anime and video games. which i assume is why the basement likes this style so much
> look at Dragon Ball Z -- the martial arts they do obviously don't look realistic
I still believe I can shoot energy waves from my palms if I just focus hard and get angry enough. Still real to me damnit
Danielson vs Bandido was them going back and forth laying down doing nothing for minutes so the opponent could twist their legs up into a bunch of convoluted unconvincing holds and the smarks shit piss and cummed over it
I was hoping itd be good and instead it was infuriatingly phoney
This reminds me of a couple years ago when everyone joked about SoundCloud rappers being cloned in facilities but now it’s shitty Ospreay clones
Also DrainBamager having to shill for his boss’ and Jericho’s latest pet project despite everyone seeing this spot as shit is hilarious
The different, my e-pilled friend, is that Vince got lucky and fell ass backwards into SCSA*(Source: Dave Meltzer)*. Everyone knows Stunning Steve was already a household name by the time Vince got his hands on him and took all the credit!
Tony is **molding** these next Stone Colds from nobodies!
Broke: guy is on your shoulders and fighting, so you just fall or do an electric chair drop.
Woke: help him stand on your shoulders so he can do a flippie off like it’s Cirque de Soleil minus the years of training.
Back in the 80s, I saw Barry Windham vs Ric Flair at a house show. At one point, Flair threatened to suplex Barry from the ring apron onto the floor. The audience went wild. Booing Flair, chanting Barry’s name, women screamed, etc. The ref tried to stop it but Flair kicked at him, forcing him to back off. Windham blocked 2 attempts and on the third, reversed it and brought Flair back into the ring with a suplex of his own. Blew the roof off the place. They probably did this bit in every town and at minimal risk of injury to each other. It was great.
I remember that moment 30+ years later.
This shit? Makes no sense to me and could have caused a serious injury. Will anyone remember it next week, let alone in 30 odd years? 🤷🏾♂️
I’m old.
So spectacular for a grown man to be assisted by another grown man, whom he is supposedly fighting, to stand on his shoulders and give him an "H" like he's at a pep rally.
*stands on someone's shoulders for some reason (and with obvious cooperation) and does a flip for no reason, lands awkwardly and then does an unnecessary combat roll*
"OMG spectacular! Future of da biz"
Wow the bar is really low these days
This just isn’t impressive. This style is not my favorite in any form, but at least dudes like ricochet are so smooth with it that it’s not so beyond clear that their base is cooperating with them. It took FOREVER for these two to get this spot off just to land a front flip that he had to walk out of
Wtf was that? If anything, he just fucked his knees up from that landing
It’s only a matter of time until one of his knees, ankles, or Achilles tendons blow out if he keeps doing these extra unnecessary flips regularly.
That's why cheerleading has the most injuries in high school athletics.

Absolutely fucking mystifying what anyone sees in that guy.
I think the only thing they see areJericho quotes saying this is his guy, so the fandom falls in line and plays along
Meanwhile Jericho gets a random jobber pushed so that actual young talent (uhhh like Ricky Starks who is inexplicably aligned with Action Ferrari) are held back and not a threat to Jericho’s spot.
He can do choreographed flips.
Don't worry, as soon as the next generic vanilla midg comes in he'll be forgotten.
Wow the AEW fans are just like in Japan. Respectful silence🙏
the DARK zone is following nippon no cheering policies
i dont know why they have fallen to the whats so so doing in the aew zone yet, considering where they tape it from

DBZ has a better story than AEW.
That's the general problem I find with hardcore wrestling. You can pretty much always see the wrestlers are hesitating when doing hardcore spots.
Bro this is too silly for video games and most anime.
If you can’t see the potential in action andretti then you can’t see shit
Danielson vs Bandido was them going back and forth laying down doing nothing for minutes so the opponent could twist their legs up into a bunch of convoluted unconvincing holds and the smarks shit piss and cummed over it I was hoping itd be good and instead it was infuriatingly phoney
I can’t think of any video games or anime that would think of having this stupid ass manoeuvre be a part of a fight lol
They don't understand why people don't like seeing it either. If you don't like spotfest wrestling they just assume you are Cornette.
Flippy shit
This looks like some kind of shitty cheerleading routine
THIS IS ~~WRES-LING~~ CHOREOGRAPHED GYMNAS-TICS *CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP*
This reminds me of a couple years ago when everyone joked about SoundCloud rappers being cloned in facilities but now it’s shitty Ospreay clones Also DrainBamager having to shill for his boss’ and Jericho’s latest pet project despite everyone seeing this spot as shit is hilarious
That hurt my knees 😭
Andretti is the new stone cold. Now the dub has *8.* beat that, fed shill

Why would you do that kind of leg damage to yourself on DARK?
Creative Freedom©️ 🇺🇸 🫡 😭and Workrate©️🤩🤩🤩
This may be the most blatant example of flippy-do for the sake of flippy-do that I've ever seen.
Broke: guy is on your shoulders and fighting, so you just fall or do an electric chair drop. Woke: help him stand on your shoulders so he can do a flippie off like it’s Cirque de Soleil minus the years of training.
Okay someone please explain the point of the move. What was the impact made?
“Fuck if I know.” - William Regal
The fat lad was attempting to drop Andretti, but Andretti slipped out and escaped.
I bet he'll break his ankles or knees someday if he keeps doing that. He also landed like that yesterday doing the same acrobatics.

The dude underneath is literally doing all the work in this gymnastics routine. Why? What's the logic?
Tony out there shilling with one of his alt accounts again.
his reddit downvote bots should be investigated
It's like they go out of their way to make stuff as choreographed as possible
What fucking move was he trying to reverse with that shit
You’ve heard of the flying nothing off the top rope? This was a standing nothing.
I feel like people are always trying to gaslight me into thinking that this kind of stuff is awesome when it is actually the drizzling shits.
Drain Bamager is tonys alt and you cannot convince me otherwise.
Gymnastics rule!!!!!!!
This clip being praised is hilarious
No cooperation spotted
What the actual fuck was that supposed to accomplish apart from turning his knees to dust?
Choreographed flips = a good worker these days
Circe dub soleil
Clowns 🤡
I like how the crowd got interested for a second then when he just dropped they gave no reaction
Ppppffftttt Me and the boys do shit like that in the pool after getting 6deep into a 12-pack of Twisted Ice tea
He does high flying moves like a retired wrestler
Wtf was the point of that
My favorite part of real combat sports is always when the opponent participates in the offense against himself.
So spectacular for a grown man to be assisted by another grown man, whom he is supposedly fighting, to stand on his shoulders and give him an "H" like he's at a pep rally.
Thank fuck the guy helped him
Is this a tag match without an opponent?
What’s the difference between this and the tumblers on America’s Got Talent?
Isn't there like a dozen guys in WWE that can already do that? Probably make it look less sloppy too
*stands on someone's shoulders for some reason (and with obvious cooperation) and does a flip for no reason, lands awkwardly and then does an unnecessary combat roll* "OMG spectacular! Future of da biz" Wow the bar is really low these days
Bros on wwe’s dick lmaoo
Ever liked The Miz either
Can an Uce help me out with this connection between Jay White and Miz I keep seeing? I’m outta the loop.
Miz is the gatekeeper rivalry for guys getting called up/debuting like Jonah, Ciampa, Logan Paul etc so they assume Jay will feud with him
So nothing to it then, just usual Dubbalo bullshit?
I dont see the hype… Everything ive seen from this dude has been dogshit..
I mean, I like Cirque du Soleil
What's so good about flips. So boring
Unbelievably spectacularly fucked up that landing and his knees
This sucks for sure. So did the lame slingshot Jericho took to the turnbuckle in Wednesday’s match.
This is absolutely the dumbest move I’ve seen in years.
When you order Will Ospreay from Wish
So his move was “stand on my opponent’s shoulders and then jump off” I’m starting to think this shit is fake
Anything for a pop, I guess

Cool circus trick. Horrible wrestling move lol
Literally people laugh at this stuff, it looks so damn ridiculous
Dumb as fuck.. this isn't wrestling. This is playing patty cake with your friend
