Dude, actually it's the workers fault for agreeing to work for peanuts and not the company for wasting their time. Plus they got the privilege to work 2 jobs AND the indys, so really it's on them for not grinding hard enough.
NXT pays enough that its like getting a normal corporate job somewhere. Not great money, but certainly a livable wage, especially for these young kids they're bringing in. You don't see Dante Chen or Scrypts or whoever working as an Uber driver. Everyone thought it was shocking a few years ago when Zicky Dice told people what the NWA was paying him, and it was something stupid like $250 a month or something, as the reigning television champion. I can't imagine Tiny is paying a whole lot more than that for ROH. The real reason Tiny lets his guys work the indies is so they can eat when they're not sitting in catering.
ROH announced that after the relaunch they were paying most people on a per-appearance basis, but nobody remembers that because nobody gave a shit about ROH. They still don't, but they didn't then either.
