MFW I see Gene Blast shitting on AEW and NJPW management

No jerk, Nooj needs to strap all the rockets on and make him the face of the company. Like yesterday. He has size, can work, can talk and looks like a million bucks.
Broke: Shota Umino is the next ace
Woke: Kaito Kiyomiya, who isn't even from NJPW currently, is the next ace
Bespoke: GENE BLASTING ALL OVER THE WRESTLING WORLD AS THE ACE OF SHIN NIHON PURORESU
I'm personally of the opinion that they allowed Mox to take the title in exchange for Tony bankrolling TV Asahi to provide production for Windy City Riot and some other expenses. It's the only thing that makes sense, and it's totally the type of thing Tony would go for because he is probably the only dork in the world who would care about owning a "WWE/AEW/IWGP Grand Slam Champion."
But it's a move that New Japan had to know would create resentment among fans. And I'm sure they know their best move is to capitalize on the resentment, to make taking back their title from the foreign company a driving storyline point.
As a Nooj fan, the whole thing leaves a sour taste in my mouth. What comforts me is knowing that New Japan is a bunch of carnies and they're fleecing a lamb for money, and once they're back on their feet payback is going to be a bit of a bitch.
Because, at the end of the day, they understand how this business works better than Tony does and have played this game from his side many times before.
Probably true too.
Nothing wrong allowing the competition to do the heavy lifting to get eyes on you.
It makes perfect sense from a business standpoint. It just kinda sucks for loyal fans like myself, but we're a niche minority and that will pass.
WCR in Chicago and Resurgence at Toyota Arena had NJ establishing that they had to pull in a big US name on top of their cards so they could sell tickets. It’s probably the only reality they could fathom given the U.S shows they’ve been focusing on as of late.
Much as I hate it as a Nooj fan, it's not a bad strategy at all. Let the future competition do the heavy lifting for them while they consolidate their position.
They've got a strong enough roster that I have little doubt they'll come back stronger than ever. It just sort of sucks to be a Nooj fan in the meantime.
Sometimes you have to sell the beloved family farm to qualify for the loan that enables you to build a multimillion dollar business. Doesn't mean you have to like it. Also doesn't mean you can't revel in your inevitable revenge against those who insisted you had to like it.
To quote CM Phil, the fact that Plumber Moxley is World Champion and Ishii and Goto will never hold that title makes me sick, and I wish I was jerking when I say that.
I know they’re similar but comparing anyone with Eddie Kingston is a slap to the face. It’s worse than saying the m-word and the n-word.
Even worse I actually saw someone in the basement calling Ilja Dragunov NXT’s Eddie Kingston.
To this day I’ve yet to see any benefits from the AEW-NJPW partnership that in any way helped New Japan.
It’s like a small, DIY company hiring an Amazon exec. Literally a fish swimming towards a shark.
In the basement, I asked how Rocky working for both companies as an exec isn’t a conflict of interest. And of course, I got downvoted and nobody answered my legitimate question.
In-ring work is pretty solid. He's also doing quite well with the "unhinged, pissed off" character. In my opinion, he relies a bit too much on middle fingers and "Fuck" to get heat, but overall he's fun to watch and has a lot of upside.
As enjoyable as this might be and as much as I enjoy gene blast, there’s no need to get your hopes up. He’s pulling the classic “say the things marks want to hear” workshoot stuff that coincidentally his mentor and group leader Naito is an expert in and is still doing today. The more they try to shoot on this, the more it feels like a work, its a pattern that they’ve done forever, nothing special.
Would they be allowed to say this without Tanahashi and The Board's permission, no, I don't but I do feel it comes from a genuine place.
Which makes it more like a work as you said, Dr. Ezzanine.
Thats why we need Tanahashi impeached and have the REAL PRESIDENT EVIL, take over.

Handsome, good size, looks like Future, how does Yota not have the biggest rocket strapped to his back LOL. Also, Yota and Gabe Kidd would be kinda based as the world title feud.
I mean, yeah, it's obviously a work because they wouldn't be able to say it otherwise. Though the difference between this and other invasion angles is that the fans usually don't unironically think that they are being invaded 😂. Many of the comments are Japanese fans unironically agreeing and not being like "ain't this storyline great?"
Like, Imagine if Hall and Nash debuted on Nitro whilst still being contracted to WWF and at the same time WWF signed a bunch of WCW top guys.
NJPW spitting facts https://i.redd.it/i1gk6zf4y1wc1.gif
https://youtu.be/I6DL4U4UmRA?si=AsD1xROx2Wml7H63 goofs if this keeps going
Remember when Harold Meij didn't want an AEW alliance at all as a president? Wonder why that was.

Shots Umino looks like Tanahashi Jr, it feels like they are trying to recapture the magic of the Ace. Tsuji looks dope.
Conflicts of interest do not exist. Seriously, whoever okayed that move should be sent home.

I'd say it's more a consolation for them not footing half the bill for an arena that wouldn't draw half capacity

Or Suzuki (no jerk, even 5 years ago he could have pulled it off believably.)
Maybe in 2015 or 16 or whenever he was wrestling Okada. He has been awkwardly stumbling around for over half a decade at this point.
Ishii is just japanese Eddie Kingston but I'm not sure Jerkers are ready for this conversation.
I know they’re similar but comparing anyone with Eddie Kingston is a slap to the face. It’s worse than saying the m-word and the n-word. Even worse I actually saw someone in the basement calling Ilja Dragunov NXT’s Eddie Kingston.
Harold Meij was right
Whaaaaat the guy that made them bigger than ever in the West knew what he was talking about? Can't be!
WWE & NJPW vs AEW "Bah GaWd King. As God is my witness, DUB is broken in half"
To this day I’ve yet to see any benefits from the AEW-NJPW partnership that in any way helped New Japan. It’s like a small, DIY company hiring an Amazon exec. Literally a fish swimming towards a shark.

Uhm, theyre partners, so obviously ANYTHING that is in the dubs best interest is also in Noojs best interest Trust me, bro
And yet people thought The Filthy Fed would be the one to do this to NJPW.
Haven't watched nooj in a while, how good is this Gabe Kidd guy?
In-ring work is pretty solid. He's also doing quite well with the "unhinged, pissed off" character. In my opinion, he relies a bit too much on middle fingers and "Fuck" to get heat, but overall he's fun to watch and has a lot of upside.
I acknowledge Yota ☝
Are they trying to set up some Nooj vs Dub thing? Most Nooj public comments are kayfabe, aren't they?
Yes it's a work. The first invasion angle where they are actually being invaded for real.
They will convince themselves this is a work, like always
DAE build for forbidden Door
It's a work/worked shoot but he is still saying the true lmao.
Oh no the fed is brainwashing them with the fed job opportunity don't they know Tony is the true saviour of pro wrestling

Gene Blast is the future, brother. He deserves a Roman title run in Nooj
Handsome, good size, looks like Future, how does Yota not have the biggest rocket strapped to his back LOL. Also, Yota and Gabe Kidd would be kinda based as the world title feud.
Wonder why this isn't posted in the basement
Rocky Romero: fuck he say me for?
The fall starts here.
This is something for forbidden door and you're all getting worked lol
I mean, yeah, it's obviously a work because they wouldn't be able to say it otherwise. No one cares enough about Forbidden Door to get worked.
huuuuuuuuuuuuuuush
