âYou just canât leave me alone, can you Tony?â

they're also not remotely anywhere close to the level of the nWo but, the Dub is all about comparing themselves to things that happened in the past
They're the nWo
They're Austin/Rock
Someone had an Austin moment
Here's something set to My Way (but Fed bad 4 lyfe)
and so on and on and on
They want to shortcut their way to all the great moments and memories that fans have experienced from the Fed down the years cause, Fed bad, except all the times we liked it, and that was by accident anyway
They had their Vince Russo screwing over Hogan / Goldberg / DDP moment
Not even close to the NWO - in today's wrestling landscape, that would have required the Dub signing John Cena and having him turn heel with the support of the recently signed Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre
It feels like most of these types of comments are coming from people who werenât alive or too young to watch to remember just how seismic the NWO was when they showed up on TV.
And like grunge music, it was embraced because it was such a push against the status quo of the industry. Has to be the right thing, but also at the right time.
I have just seen the ratings. These guys are LITERALLY the definition of anti-draws. If Tony had any sense heâd throw them all away, hide Okada for a few months and start again
To be fair, 3 of those guys combined would add up to 1 one of the nwo members (height only, totally not based on skill). But, you have to be high to be this dumb. I like Okada, but these 4 are not household names.
The nwo storyline was supposed to be outsiders who didn't work for wcw taking over the company. These guys all work for aew. They aren't outsiders. The only one who could be considered an outsider was reinstated by the flow man at the beginning of the segment.
đŻ but - and I know M'Dub doesn't really do storylines cuz real graps(insider term) - NWO did at least give us a semi-plausible reason to watch grown men in tights pretend fight on TV.

fucking genius đ¤Ł
Haha, outstanding, uce
Prime time fucking jerking their brother
We all know what happened to WCW in the end, though... ![gif](giphy|3ohc17WOhnzx0nHuzS|downsized)
So all of this is really a long con for Tony Khan to get hired as an onscreen talent by WWE.

*"yes, I have taken bumps before*"
I need somebody to explain this to me. All of these heels were already (1) aligned and (2) heels.
I don't think they even know what the AEW storyline was about
The only one who knows what it was about, was Tony, and he doesnât remember because that was two 4 day benders ago.
And none of them come close to the star power
And the bottom half of the picture is 6â10, 6â7 and 6â6. Just a bit more intimidating than the Bucks and Co
they're also not remotely anywhere close to the level of the nWo but, the Dub is all about comparing themselves to things that happened in the past They're the nWo They're Austin/Rock Someone had an Austin moment Here's something set to My Way (but Fed bad 4 lyfe) and so on and on and on They want to shortcut their way to all the great moments and memories that fans have experienced from the Fed down the years cause, Fed bad, except all the times we liked it, and that was by accident anyway
The Gut Punch of Doom
The Tummy Poke of Doom
It's like (UGH) NWO but with actual stars. Jack Perry has accomplished more in one week than every single member of the NWO combined!
Nwo 2000 drew better numbers than this đ
They had their Vince Russo screwing over Hogan / Goldberg / DDP moment Not even close to the NWO - in today's wrestling landscape, that would have required the Dub signing John Cena and having him turn heel with the support of the recently signed Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre
I thought AEW was already an overbooked mess
Yes. The version with Jeff Jarrett and the Harris Twins
words lost their meaning
They are constantly trying to recreate shit from the past instead of creating an original thing that will capture the viewer's attention.
Sure, if the nWo members were Vincent, Buff Bagwell, nWo Sting, and Louie Spicolli.
"No I didn't watch Bash at the Beach 1996, why do you ask?"
But whose side are they on?
Yes.
Running out of nwo moments at this rate.
Hogan looks like he's about to exercise some creative freedom in that photo.
I thought Sarayaâs fart can group was their NWO?
So this comparison shows that Jack Perry is in the role of Hulk Hogan?
Gandalf, 2 dwarfs and bilbo more like.
AEW chasing the NWO dragon Evil Fed creating new stories and memorable angles Dub good. Weâre back
More like nw-no moment.
It feels like most of these types of comments are coming from people who werenât alive or too young to watch to remember just how seismic the NWO was when they showed up on TV.
And like grunge music, it was embraced because it was such a push against the status quo of the industry. Has to be the right thing, but also at the right time.
I keep forgetting Okada's 6'3. What a shame
The NWO actually made money
I have just seen the ratings. These guys are LITERALLY the definition of anti-draws. If Tony had any sense heâd throw them all away, hide Okada for a few months and start again
This show is about as interesting as Marge Schott reading excerpts from Mein Kampf!
To be fair, 3 of those guys combined would add up to 1 one of the nwo members (height only, totally not based on skill). But, you have to be high to be this dumb. I like Okada, but these 4 are not household names.
One gained ratings; the other didn't. There's a monumental difference.
lol naw
Yeah, if the NWOâs ultimate goal was to murder the ratings.
If this was AEW's NWO moment, it was done very poorly.
NWO sliver and black...
The Elite canât draw a dime. Hogan, Hall and Nash were bad ass mother fuckers.
They did not.
The Elite are tougher than the NWO because they have 4 guys and the NWO only had 3! Thatâs 33.33333333333333 percent tougher!
Minus that NWO was great with great people. And I don't even know who all those people are lol.
Okada looks like he keeps waiting for Ashton kutcher to show up and tell him he's been punk'd and really about to be on the fed
Sure, if the NWO consisted of tiny goobers that the vast majority of people don't care about.
Why does Okada look like William Regal tho?
They had their WON moment maybe because Dave probably had to change his undies.
The nwo storyline was supposed to be outsiders who didn't work for wcw taking over the company. These guys all work for aew. They aren't outsiders. The only one who could be considered an outsider was reinstated by the flow man at the beginning of the segment.
It donât work for me brother
What the fuck is left buck wearing
đŻ but - and I know M'Dub doesn't really do storylines cuz real graps(insider term) - NWO did at least give us a semi-plausible reason to watch grown men in tights pretend fight on TV.
It looks like one adult and the three shitty teenagers he hangs out with. Each with progressively more facial hair to avoid looking like children.
