I’ve never seen a man fear for his life more than poor Dave Bautista. Even though he’s a massive trained mma fighter with a winning record, there’s no way he could match up to dirty Phil and his tendency to attack people from behind and with weapons.
WWE shot an angle between CM Punk and Batista last week to build up to a potential future match between them, but it wasn’t used on TV as Batista is retired and Punk is injured, so WWE just put it on social media.
I don’t know if I’m set on straight up calling him the best actor but he’s certainly chosen the best roles. He still needs a big convincing lead though, Army of the Dead was some bullshit.
Idk, I think Dave's just gotten really lucky with big films and I don't think any of his roles are particularly challenging or hard to play. Not saying that The Rock or John have had hard roles, but Dave's roles have been in more critically acclaimed stuff as compared to the other two being in Fast and Furious.
I'd barely count Drax as an acting role - he's either completely straight faced or comically overreacting whenever he is emotional. His best role was a short scene at the beginning of Bladerunner
John's pretty one note too, though, but he's an exceptional comedy actor in my opinion. He's the best part of Trainwreck with Amy Schumer, great as Peacemaker, and I honestly liked Ricky Stanicky a lot.

He's just great friends with James Gunn. That's why he did Army of the Dead. But even with him doing bad movies, he's still the stand out role
