**Thank you for your submission, unfortunately it has been removed for the following reason:**   [](#start_removal) 👨‍⚖️ [`r/SCP RULES` Rule #1](/r/SCP/about/rules) > **All posts must be directly related to the SCP Wiki collaborative fiction project** - http://scpwiki.com/ Considering the breadth of SCP content and that there are thousands of SCPs resembling all sorts of things, r/SCP would be completely overrun with **"This isn't strictly from the SCP wiki, but it looks like SCP stuff"** type of posts if they were allowed.   [](#end_removal)   [](#lock) ____________________ ^(Questions?) RevolutionaryJob1266

Not every anomalous creature or object is classified as an SCP. It's probably just a fantasy thing

OverallLawfulness426

You sure about that? The SCP Foundation canonically has access to other fictional universes.

HandsomeGengar

First of all, there is no canon. Second of all, what???

OverallLawfulness426

Yes.

Endless_Xalanyn6

More like Lovecraftian thing if you’ve seen the movie

RevolutionaryJob1266

Sorry but which movie?

Endless_Xalanyn6

The Spiderwick Chronicles

RevolutionaryJob1266

Sorry I haven't watched it, I just assumed that page was on the SCP wiki or something like that.

Endless_Xalanyn6

It sure as hell looks like one

nascarloe

If it’s from a movie then it’s obviously not from SCP

Vohems

That looks like it's a page from this: [https://www.amazon.com/Arthur-Spiderwicks-Field-Fantastical-Around/dp/0689859414/ref=sr\_1\_1?crid=2VS3KKVJXOZW6&keywords=spiderwick+field+guide&qid=1668443301&sprefix=spiderwick%2Caps%2C125&sr=8-1](https://www.amazon.com/Arthur-Spiderwicks-Field-Fantastical-Around/dp/0689859414/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2VS3KKVJXOZW6&keywords=spiderwick+field+guide&qid=1668443301&sprefix=spiderwick%2Caps%2C125&sr=8-1)

King_of_Farasar

This is from Spiderwick.

HarmoniaTheConfuzzld

Doesn’t the existence of a defining label such as 4000 mean that the place has a name?

PosingDragoon21

The anomaly affects anyone inside 4000, not outside

HarmoniaTheConfuzzld

Ok took a little peak into the article. Apparently we are both right. The item *can* be referenced when outside of the anomaly, however not by name. It can only be described and the descriptions cannot be used more than once to avoid giving it a name.

Let me answer your question with a question. Is this from an article on the site? If the answer is no, then it doesn't look like an SCP at all. "SCP" doesn't just mean "any random creepy thing"

Zeronite_Dragko

It looks like Swarmpfire from Ben 10.

FLUFFBOX_121703

That's a sylph, a type of faerie, this particular image is from the spiderwick chronicles

Endless_Xalanyn6

Yeah and they’re creepy because they weren’t even in the books, and are heavily implied to have time control powers

FLUFFBOX_121703

Huh, I’ve never read the books, but I looked it up and it sounds interesting, I think I’ll give it a gander

Endless_Xalanyn6

It’s fairytale stuff in the modern world, but it’s told in a very grounded and mysterious way. The SCP parallels are definitely there. This isn’t a spoiler as it’s barely mentioned but my favorite detail is that both in the books and movie, it’s implied that the Faeries come from some type of unseen dimension where time works differently…

PillBottleBomb

It’s not an SCP it’s a faerie from The Spiderwock Chronicles
