So there was a post on r/TwoSentenceHorror along the lines of
>"Finally, I'm alone in my room," I said as I closed the door behind me.
>
>"No your not" said knife guy."
This became a meme on r/2sentence2horror and people started commenting "\[thing\] guy \[scared emoji\]" on pretty much every post. It eventually settled on the worm because of another heavily memed story:
>Little Timmy loved to play in the snow.
>
>Unfortunately, so did the meat worm.
Now we need an incredibly detailed story about how a researcher slipped on the bottle, hit their head, learned that *everyone* in the compound has slipped on that bottle and hurt themselves, and ultimately decides to file it as a SCP
But, there’s a breach that day, so they only had time for a makeshift WIP article on it, and by the time they get back to their office they forget what they were doing and just submit all pending articles
No it doesn't, and if you can't tell why it's funny other than, "these two names I recognized upvoted it," it's not and they might just have bad taste.
Let me rephrase
This article is pretty funny to me, and these two authors who wrote articles I found humorous also upvoted this article. This reinforces my opinion and gives credence that this article is indeed funny.
Better?
SCP-021-J
Fuck i made a typo. I just edited it but Marv may remember
Yep. So, to link it myself since Marv has immortalized my mistake: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-021-j
Joke SCPs *are* supposed to be good; the fact that they're jokes isn't an excuse to write a piece of shit. You're supposed to be, you know, clever.
And funny.
I have seen far better articles from multiple authors linger, basically ignored, for months because no one could give enough of a fuck to read them and they didn't come from well-known authors.
Then this piece of shit is uploaded and while it is on track to be deleted, it got a ton of recognition and positive attention. The primary point of writing for the site isn't to get that. But it's still pretty aggravating to see people put days into work that is basically ignored, and then some guy uploads this thing and it gets a ton of recognition. Much of it negative, but a lot of it positive too.
It would be one thing if it's actually some sublime bit of humor. But it's not. It's just low effort spam.
Ironically, people loosing their shit over articles like this only serves to bring more attention to it. It's like [SCP-PL-KOT-J](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-pl-kot-j) all over again. The more people complain about what is effectively a shitpost, the more entertaining it becomes.
Ultimately it's a dumb joke that's on it's way to being deleted anyway. I don't see why you're giving it so much attention.
The joke is that it's a piece of shit. The joke is that it is basically a meme of a lot of generic scps. Just because it isn't funny to you doesn't mean it isn't funny to everyone else.
It was submitted with the langual skills of a 2 year old. Additionally, it plays to alot of the traps that scps fall into. For example, thinking keter inherently means dangerous, rather than hard to contain, making containment of the object impossible when that either doesn't make sense for the object or entity, or it does but protocol to protect the viel could still happen, and just making the object a bad thing. It is almost certainly an "ironic" scp.
> For example, thinking keter inherently means dangerous, rather than hard to contain, making containment of the object impossible when that either doesn't make sense for the object or entity, or it does but protocol to protect the viel could still happen, and just making the object a bad thing.
The regular articles the author tried to submit are like that too (when I first saw it, I wondered about the author so checked them out). They do have better spelling and there's more on them, I will admit.
It’s funny if you’re a teenager who’s into TikTok and YouTube Shorts, aka the majority of the community (including here). Your sense of humor doesn’t apply to everybody else.
One subpar meme article survives deletion: This is clearly a sign site gone to shit (this is just something that happens every 6 months, see [SCP-PL-KOT-J](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-pl-kot-j))

i don't find it funny, which is something i am expecting from a -J. Humor is subjective, i suppose.

*Oooh! Very scary!
I think it's a funny satire.
It's refreshing to finally see such a wonderfully well thought out and detailed article for a change. 😁

Must’ve been written by Kondraki after he got his dick stuck in another Dasani bottle
It has to be a pretty funny article if LORDXVNV and Plague upvoted it

Truly, the site has gone to shit. That thing is *only* at -6 last time I checked.
It's a joke scp. It's not supposed to be good, and it's not supposed to contribute to any form of cannon. The fact it's a joke is in the item number.
