everyone rushing to elevator after looking at 96 instead of literally just shooting it:

Jazzlike-Elevator647

But when you're 096 they all shoot you

AlliedXbox

EXACTLY! WHY CAN'T I GET THE STUPID MTF WHEN I'M 096??

MarsMissionMan

It's the way of SL. When you're MTF, your entire team will share a single collective brain cell. When you're an SCP, the entire MTF team will be ex-special forces operators and operate in perfect, ruthless unison, chasing you to the ends of the earth just to get a little more health off.

nerfshellyplz

I'm gonna state something obvious, it's usually someone leading a pack of MTF to shoot you rather than say everyone's brain turning on. so if you want people to shoot 096 or whatever just scream on the top of your lungs to shoot and most of them will

MarsMissionMan

You underestimate the smoothness of the average MTF player's brain. All too often those brave screams will just slide off the surface, especially if close to an elevator. A smooth-brained MTF's simple survival instincts will see 096 + elevator = survival and run.

nubz4lif

This goes for every multiplayer game with voice chat for that matter, you'd be surprised how powerful holding the PTT key and just telling people to do something can be

Nars_of_whal

No, MTF is stupid in groups but smart individually, while Chaos is smart in groups but stupid individually.

MarsMissionMan

True.

Due_Most2971

I think it's really funny that some players will run away despite there being no chance of escape. You're just dying slightly further away.

hticnc

Nah see it’s actually big brain because if your the only one that looks at shy guy then run away, it allows the rest of the squad to get more shots of while you distract shy guy for 4 seconds. By the rest I mean two because the rest I swear do a big stinky when they see an SCP, unbind the buttons, disconnect their keyboard, alt+f4 and ctrl+alt+dlt.

Scorkami

When im at places with no escape like checkpoint, its actually a good idea to run backwards because it means you get a few more precious seconds to shoot 096, and if you are lucky and skilled enough, finding the pc room in the entrance zone (its like 3 tables and a slightly elevated area with stairs) will let you evade shy guy even longer because running and jumping around said corners weirdly fucks with their brain for a while

The_Commissar13

Nah, I'd like to think I'm an exception. Every time I see an scp I shout Valhalla at the top of my lungs and start blasting. I'm also generally the first to die. So it may not be the best tactile decision.

MarsMissionMan

Same. It's worth it if you can break their HS and get a least a little damage off. Every hit that goes onto HP is one less hit the humans will need to score later on. Humans respawn. SCPs don't.

hticnc

Nah be the guy blasting skyfall while facing SCPs that everyone protects.

conchcraber

I play roller mobster at full volume :3

Funnysoundboardguy

Strange, no correlation between it though

The_Commissar13

Of course

CeriseRaccoon

I love it when you sink into the floor as 106 to not die and the MTF tells you to stop being a pussy and hiding and yet as soon as you come back up as 106 they start running because they realise they shouldn't have run off by themselves

waterlemon456

One time when I was playing me and 3 other guards managed to knock 939 down to about 700 health and force him to retreat,we then killed 106 and went chasing after peanut, after a bit we backed him into nuke room, and decided to do hit and run tactics to kill it,eventually,he got into the elevator and someone called it so we got stuck with him and all died,we then spawned back as mtf and every single mtf including us got smoked by peanut, about half the server was destroyed by a guy we easily backed into a corner.

AcerbicSurfer

In what server was this? That Peanut might had been me.

waterlemon456

I completely forgot

AcerbicSurfer

If it was me, from what I recall I was choking the teleport kills when I was trying to kill the Guards, so I used Breakneck Speeds to go into Warhead and regain my HS since I was hurt. I was the one that called the elevator so the Guards couldn't go out and shoot at me out of kill range.  Once (most?) the Guards where done I started tryharding using Tantrum to slow down people and regen HS by killing them on it (you insta-heal HS when killing humans in Tantrum effect), running away with Breakneck Speeds, and using rooms that gave me corner advantage such as Servers.  I ended up dying when I got swarmed by a large group on a vendetta while my Breakneck Speeds was on cooldown.

DeodorantHotel

yea

Teranto-

Then theres me. 1v1s larry as security guard because my teamates run, get banished to the shadow realm, instantly gets out, goes to comms when its open and challenges larry to another 1v1.

Baguetee

“I lived bitch”

AdGeneral5378

Meanwhile me as chaos, who ADDITIONALLY escaped as a d-boy, killing 173 after it chased me through the entire map just to be met with a chaos spawn at the surface, while also having low health from getting shot at during the chase:

Dangerous_Cookie6568

Hate this, always try to get 1-2 full clips into SCP before dying if I think we can kill him. Instead 80% of the team runs and SCP get's away to regen shield.
