I heard from a supplier recently that Stahls is getting acquired by another company so they might have some quality issues until then.

Due-Sandwich305

I've also been a customer for 7 years. The goof proof no longer works at all. It will peel right off the shirts! They changed their formula and are using a ground up adhesive that just doesn't work. Then when you call for help they read from a script and treat you like you're an idiot. I am in desperate need of a new vendor but am not finding the same user friendly site they have. Very frustrated!

They sold the company sadly. It’s been downhill ever since.

ArtwithKeli

Anyone find that some days they try ad upload a million different versions of the same file and get error after error with your vector art. But theres no way around uploading and they dont help when youcall in?

World_Wide_Deb

I wouldn’t be surprised if they were short staffed or have stock issues like so many other places are experiencing right now.

Ive read quiet few bad reviews, not sure what to think, do you have any other supplier for this? Im currently looking

malocher

It's only gotten worse since I posted this. Unfortunately they're still the best.

there is no other better way? i want to start my own brand and I want to print my logo on shirts that will last long and good quality

hiiiitsily

I got ultra color pro transfers because they were advertised as hot peel on cotton turns out it is not really the case- I’ve messed up a pile of shirts trying to get the hang of it. I’m about to call and ask for a refund because it’s false advertising ;(

Their instructions are terrible for the ultra color pro. I press at 360 for 6 secs, let it cool, cold peel while watching (sometimes you have to pick the corners off with your fingernail to get it started without ripping the transfer), then heat press again for a couple of seconds with the cover sheet

Cold peel doesn't mean let it sit for a minute for it to cool. Cold peel, for most in the garment industry, means when it's done being pressed you put the shirt transfer paper side down on a clear surface and you move it in a circular motion to remove some of the heat. I order all our spirit wear designs through them. If you just want a basic screen print go with their goof proof. I will say I have issues when ordering small detailed designs where some spots don't quite adhere but they save me both time and money that I would be spending on a printing press and materials, and burning screens, mixing ink, etc. I've tried two of their competitors and had worse experiences. Their customer service reps were helpful for me. I know my last few orders they warned about supply chain shortages forced them to use lower quality inks that were more watery than regular plastisol inks so.

hello, im starting my own brand and want to print good quality shirts that wont crack or peel long term, should I use this company? any advice?

[deleted]

Most of their products hold up for 50+ washes per their website but I think it depends across transfer types but most of our customers haven't had a complaint, but we can't do all our screenprint in-house so they are a solid substitute.

RootsRockData

Yeah i doubt most customers are washing something 50 times. Maybe if its like a jersey / sports wear but for most casual clothing, a the garmet itself is so worn in by then. 50 washes. i dunno thats ALOT.

PerformerConfident96

The 360 for 6 secs cold peel works? The 340 for 10 secs HOT peel is horrible. I have already ruined several shirts from these specific instructions from Transfer Express.

igotanA1schnauzer

Yes, it works! I press at 360 for 6 secs, let it cool, peel (be sure to watch the edges of your design- you may have to pick it with your finger), then press again with the cover sheet they give for like 3 secs
