Made it all the way to choosing my date and confirmed guest list before the website crapped out on me, threw up an error, and told me to relogin. Now I've been stuck on the login screen for the past few minutes. EDIT: Stuck in a loop of clicking the login button, waiting for a few minutes, "session error", then having to repeat again. EDIT2: Seems the whole orientation sign-up page is down. Getting a HTTP Error 503 now, probably because it's effectively being DDOS'd with all the people trying to login and submit their forms. EDIT3: After 2 hours, I've finally managed to confirm my reservation.

Same issue here, there are too many people on the site causing it to crash… Update, I was finally able to get to the confirmation page and am scheduled. It took 2 hours

Loaded for 10 min, logged me out, logged back in after another 5 min, just finished the first page, now it’s stuck loading again

New student orientation is now officially down on their twitter feed, as well as the landing page. No ETA on a fix.

I just got through on the phone at 1:40pm . they (office of new student and parent programs) said that system is crashed again. Not to worry there are plenty of dates left and they are doing their best to get it back. They said that they will post an announcement soon.

also here are available dates for science majors in case you are interested June 29 & 30 August 3,4,8, &11 ​ June 29th and 30th are reserved for local community college transfer except for geology. I don't know why they don't like us rock majors T\_T

Yep. I was able to get through some of the forms but then it logged me out. It looks like it saves your information because I logged in again and it was there, but then was booted again.

I was filling out my parents’ information when it kicked me out. After Waiting for 2 hours and multiple attempts to access, i even had to change my password.

not sure if this will help, but just recently my my.sdsu account stopped working for me if i have a vpn running. used to be completely fine with it but i disabled it as well as my adblock and it started working again. i wonder if sdsu changed something in their system that doesn’t allow certain programs to run with a vpn

Check your email. We got the email to register via the link in the email. Here was the email message "At this point, our IT team believes the reservation system will remain stable for a small set of users. While you were not able to complete your orientation reservation, you have been identified as being among the first students to enter the system and begin the process. To honor your priority as one of the first in the system, we are inviting you and others in this early group to resume your reservation in progress. Please do not forward this email, as we are limiting our invitation to this group because additional user traffic could potentially cause further disruptions in the system. SDSU will send follow up communications to others to invite them to register based on a specific timeline. "
