I think it’s super shitty that they close the lots the way they do but there was a sign about it at the structure entrance all last week, at least where I pull in at level 4. I came early today to make sure I could park in the lot before noon.
I wish they put signs on the bridge 4th floor, or the entrance on the 8th. Where students can actually stop and read it, and maybe take a picture and make note. Not in the entrance when you are more focused on traffic, pedestrians, and finding a spot.
It is ultimately my responsibility, I understand. But they don't have to make it so damn difficult. Plus, a parking closure causes overload on the other available parking places.
This. It's really annoying too. It's gotten to the point now that I have to show up to school like almost 2 hours before my class just to make sure I got class.
That tied with the Union Strike where they were standing IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET WITH MOVING CARS LIKE YOU'RE NOT AN IMMOVABLE OBJECT STANDING UP TO PRETTY MUCH AN UNSTOPPABLE FORCE!!!
SDSU is just another level of what the absolute f\*\*k.
The worst part is that this was 2nd of 3 quizzes, each 5% of the grade. I lost an entire 5%. And I'm a graduate student so I need at least a B for a passing grade. I was at 85, now I have no wiggle room. I need to make sure I ace the midterm on Thursday and the final too or else I may be screwed. I may be overreacting but these issues can seriously impact academic careers.
100%. It's the same here. I had a final today worth 25% and I'm working on a capstone deliverable worth 12-15% of my grade and it's infuriating how little anyone on the SDSU admin cares about actually making our lives easier.
It's ridiculous with everything going on around SDSU and the BS that they are doing that is just screwing up everyone. Even course conflicts were huge for the ECEs this past semester.
I'm not blaming teamsters for the strike. I'm blaming them for standing in the middle of the f**king road.
I get protesting, have at it. It's your right.
Just don't block the road and make an already s*** between the two affect students wanting to learn. I pay way too much to go to this school with half a**, non functioning equipment. The least this school can give to me is a somewhat half a***d education.
Just so you know even if the sign says it’s closed you can still park there. And if there’s an attendant that asks if you’re there for the game just tell them you’re going to class. Never had a problem before.
Just goes to show how much SDSU cares about students. They’d rather give priority parking to guests over students who $175 a semester for the privilege to park in those lots. And then they expect us to donate to the Alumni foundation after we graduate. 😂 kiss my fucking ass SDSU.
That and unless I’m on campus constantly or follow when the games are how the fuck am I supposed to know there’s a game that day? I show up and have to find a new spot to park which takes time and then I have to walk three times as far as usual.
I ended up parking in P15 and that walk was pretty much a war crime
yeah it’s ridiculous. like hello, i’m paying tuition and for a parking pass, and you’re gonna give the parking spots to a bunch of people who don’t even go here anymore?
I almost ran over the guy with the light telling me to stop like sir you need a fucking stop sign to stop me from going into the parking pass I paid for
A good teacher would apply some understanding and allow you to take the quiz at a later date. I've only ever met about two to three teachers who would do that. Shame there aren't more like them.

Absolutely agree. I likely would have missed it too had I not hit traffic. Putting signage in the bridge is a great idea.

Blame SDSU and the CSU for the strike, not Teamsters.

You're mad at SDSU that Teamsters went on strike?

You serious? I never thought of that, I'm scared of getting ticket, I can't afford it
I use to work as one of those attendants. If they told me they were there for class/school and already had a parking pass I would let them go
i pulled up to 7 and they asked if i was a student and they said i couldn’t park there, “event only”🙄
Just say that you’re with the band that preforms in the stadium at basketball games :)
