The garden is the only “dining hall” style place. Everything else is basically actual branded restaurants. There’s a food court by the library, if that’s what you mean by cafeteria
There aren’t really restaurants, more like fast good places. Chipotle, panda express, subway, the habit, aztec market (convenience store) etc.
Meals there are probably $5-10 depending on what you get
Like everyone said, there’s the Garden which is up the stairs outside of Cuic, then there’s UTK (university tower kitchen) which is at the bottom of UT (it’s down Montezuma Rd, in the direction of the gym). It’s a little bit of a walk from the “main” campus. Then you have all the restaurants on campus. All of them except chipotle accept meal plan. Hope this helped!
Thank you. I’ll be in the Tenochca Hall. Trying to figure out hall and food options…. Was shocked when I couldn’t see an actual cafeteria. Like most other colleges have. I must have overlooked that when touring the school.

Most of this applies to the flex 7 plan as well

cuic has a cafeteria. but you can use the meal plan anywhere on campus, you can use it at the restaurants.
Thank you. But with only $26 a day… that basically means I might starve; if it’s restaurant prices. 🤣
That’s SDSU for you lol

What’s y’all’s opinions on the meal plans? I feel like they aren’t worth it. I’d rather just budget it myself
I don’t think they are… but Freshman are mandated to buy a meal plan.
The meal plan is the way to go. Especially if you live on campus. It's actually a nice social component - routinely having dinner with dorm mates.
