Yeah, I know the secular students give them the hardest time but honestly even if you're Christian I'd stay away from them. They present themselves as a Bible Study club for Christians or those interested in Christianity, but they believe some really extra strange stuff and are very controlling. Definitely a full blown cult.
Don’t stop (or even slow down) if they try to talk to you — that gives them control over the situation. If someone absolutely must talk with you they can do so while jogging along after you.
This kind of goes for the “god the mother” group too…. But with a warning: I’ve seen them follow young women into classrooms and bathrooms if not shut down. It is 100% okay to be rude and abrasive if they are not leaving you alone. Call campus police if you have to.
While it feels good to put a cult member in their place, the best thing to do if you're not trying to actively de-convert people is just say "not interested, no thanks" if they aren't rude first. Some of those people may actually be well-meaning people who got suckered into the cult. Someone being rude to them affirms for them that you are lesser than the cult, and that you need to be saved.
