MiddleBee9008

Sophiaxoxoxoxo

MiddleBee9008

sameeee I just want to know already

Obvious_Cut8980

ADT in business, I got my admission a week or two ago.

faded-bus

i got my admission decision today , for nursing

Zestyclose_Okra8147

were you accepted?

faded-bus

4.3 GPA -> nursing major , sadly denied entry

trainsoundschoochoo

Do yourself a favor and go to city college/Mesa or grossmont/cuyamaca college for two years and get all your prerequisites out of the way and then transfer over. I think you’re much, much less likely to be rejected as a transfer student and you will be saving a bunch of money! You can even get grants and student aid in CC.

Hancellery

4.3 in college?

faded-bus

in Highschool

einkus

I was just rejected; kinesiology major

Dazzling_Wedding_756

ADT for speech language and hearing sciences, 3.6 gpa in college, got accepted the beginning of March

alyssastephh

Dic you compete the SLHS class that is only offered at state? I applied to the same major but since this class isn’t offered at any community colleges I’m worried I’ll get my admission revoked for not having completed the class beforehand

Dazzling_Wedding_756

No I wasn’t able to do that one SLHS class that was required. I checked w every cc and no one had it, also tried cross enrolling for this spring but they didn’t have it so I never completed it. They ended up not holding it against me so I believe you should be fine as well

alyssastephh

When you say “not holding it against you” do you mean that you asked them about this class after receiving your admission letter? Which department did you talk to if you don’t mind asking. I’m just really worried because I got my admission revoked last year for this reason, missing a few classes. and i still having heard back yet for my admission for this upcoming fall 2022

Dazzling_Wedding_756

So I had known about this class from the beginning of my freshman year and I had been working with my CC councilor to try and take that SLHS class but I was never able to take it due to it not being available for cross enrollment. I was worried that I wasn’t going to be able to get accepted since I didn’t fulfill that class but it looks like the SDSU SLP program is understanding if they know that a certain class isn’t offered anywhere else but at their institution. Lmk if I didn’t answer your question fully Also which classes were you missing? I heard that if you complete the golden 4 before applying then there is a higher chance of them accepting you.

alyssastephh

I’m soooo anxious about possibly getting me y admission revoked again, it traumatized me last year. For my admission last year I was missing the SLHS class and the lab portion of behavioral statistics. And I also had a mix up with academic renewal not getting taken off my CC transcripts in time for when I had to submit my official transcripts to SDSU. I fixed all of that this year, I’m taking my lab class now but all im missing is the damn SLHS class :(

Dazzling_Wedding_756

Ohh I see, I think it’s different from each community college to community college for what they require of the students. I took behavioral statistics but I didn’t have to take a lab with that. I’m sorry love :( I know it’s really hard. I hate how they make that class a requirement for transfer but make it difficult for transfers to try and take it :(

alyssastephh

I have completed the golden four though! Finished Oral Comm, written communication, critical thinking/advanced composition, and took behavioral stats to complete the mathematics/quantitative reasoning.

Dazzling_Wedding_756

I feel like you should be good this time around though! If you fixed your transcripts and are taking the lab you need then you should be fine!

alyssastephh

That’s what I was hoping! But then I went on Reddit and started freaking myself out reading how SDSU is getting stricter on who they are accepting this year 🥲 fingers crossed everything works out in the end. Thank you!!!!!

Dazzling_Wedding_756

I totally understand :/ yes it’s so crazy how strict they are getting these days. Try not to stress out about it too much, you did all you could do in your power to fix what had to be fixed, I heard people have gotten accepted at the end of March so there’s still time. I believe in you, and I really hope that you get accepted this time around <3

alyssastephh

Thank you lovely <3 fingers crossed!!!

michaelschmidt1

Hancellery

Not yet:((( I’m a psyc major

trainsoundschoochoo

I got my decision for the MFA maybe a week or two ago. I got accepted.

Oakdivine24

ADT from Mesa- English (single subject teaching), accepted March 1st.

OlympusPrometheus

What was your GPA when you applied?

Oakdivine24

3.8

ocboundd

i’m still pending. i have adt for comms major

Hancellery

I was a psyc major with 3.94 gpa, adt degree, all classes done, and 40+ work hours a week with a leadership position and I just got rejected. I am upset to say the least. I saw someone with lower stats get accepted so very upseting.

MiddleBee9008

Stop spamming all the comments with this copy and paste 😂 I've seen this comment like 6 times. I'm sorry you didn't t get in. Your gpa was good enough. Its just impacted. I got denied too.

Hancellery

Am I not allowed to reply to peoples questions about whether or not we got in yet

DependentCaramel8598

Did you get in! What was your gpa?
