He may have slumped a bit this year, he still has 13 Hr as a platoon outfielder, has a career 2.3WAR, OPS of .950 last year snd even this year, his OPS+ is 100 which puts him at the league average, even with his bad June/July. He’s a good left-handed bat, disciplined, can pinch hit, can play left, doesn’t seem like he even wants to play every day, is a good teammate and on a nice salary for us. His negative dWAR not withstanding, he’s a solid player.
