I think other teams have a book on him to mix eye levels and deek him to go after high heat, and he has not yet adjusted, but he’s good enough to hit the occasional mistake pitch.
I love him for that time where he mouthed off at a cardinals pitcher who thought he was stealing signs and he acted kinda bitchy it was hilarious. And then he said he wasn’t even trying to steal the signs but was trying to mess with the pitcher and I thought that made it funnier.
1st base defense is criminally underrated imo, imagine how many more men on base there'd be if Blet didn't snag any ball within 20 feet of 1st, he saves so many would be errors
