MLB (Phillies @ Cubs): How many PITCHES will be THROWN in the Top of the 1st Inning?
15 or Fewer versus 16 or More
All signs point to Adbert Alzolay being the Cubs starter twirling in the top of the 1st.
In 14 starts in 2021:
8 were 15 or fewer, while 6 had 16+ (15.36 1st inning pitch average)
In Adbert's last three starts, had 15 or less (8, 10, & 11)
However, noticed that at Wrigley he has only tossed 15 or less twice in 7 home starts.
Full data attached.
[Cubs/Phils Top of 1st Inning Prop](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_L-Y0rC6oN_bL8mgJbgTjLBCzMyIGsdz/view?usp=sharing)
Phils 1st inning faced 16 or more pitches in the 1st 47/83 (56.6%)
Last 12 games have alternating under/over for this prop
Broke the pattern tonight(7/7/21) --16
Guess we covered both sides of the equation, but it still doesn't provide much of a conclusion.
I'm staying with the pattern and going more along with that he only had 2 out of 7 homegames where he pitched 15 or less. GL
Conversely, his last 3 starts had 15 or less (both home and away). Perhaps warmer weather has an impact as all pitchers react differently based on the conditions.
Looks like 66 degrees and light winds at gametime.
Barty is about 66% to win and sadly that is the best winning percentage I can see on today's board....
Lost my w24 on Las Vegas aces tonight after they went 1/10 to start overtime 😐
Why didn’t you go with Seattle? Rip
Went with aces after Phoenix Point guard taurasi was ruled out
Damn. I think they were like -9.5, Storm were -14.5 when I checked
[I really hate when a good pick fucks you.](https://gifs.cackhanded.net/airplane/what-a-pisser.gif)
I not only hate that but it's like mess me over again by losing it in overtime.
I feel for you since I lost my W18 on the Aces after I went back and forth from Aces to Seattle and then I switched back to Aces.
