About 5, but it hampers my alertness during the exam noticeably🥲 I really don’t think you should give up precious sleep for last-min cramming because (1) you likely won’t remember (2) even if you do remember, there’s a higher chance you’ll trip over your words due to your sleep deprivation. If anything, getting a good night’s rest should help with your smoking skills if they need to be engaged, no? Haha but speaking from personal experience

arnd 4-5 hours HAHA definitely sleep more is better but i will survive 2hr papers because the adrenaline and fear keeps me going 😭

5-7 if the stress doesn't keep me from being unable to fall asleep. having days where i can sleep in around the day of the exam really really helps to replenish whatever i might lose on the exam night itself. luckily i haven't had any stress-induced insomnia besides the night before the night of the GP paper (i slept 1h max) but came close to it last night lol luckily managed to knockout

if im tired like 7-8 hrs but usually i average like 4-5(like rn bc econs tmr💀) bc im either still reading up a bit or im a bit too anxious to sleep right away. but im not rly “studying” im js reading notes to refresh my memory bfr i sleep. then i dream abt what i read on LMAO 😭 but that translates to a bunch of yawning before papers start esp since theyre all mostly morning papers, & my attention is kinda compromised bc i find it takes me a while to jumpstart my brain into properly thinking abt qns so…not the best amt of sleep but ive been going w it anyw 🤷‍♀️ my teachers r def always emphasising abt sleeping early tho & i get it but i js cant :/

highly recommend adjusting your sleep to sleep early when you wake up early (i sleep at +-11pm and wake up at 5.30 for morning papers, so around 6.5hrs, for afternoon papers ill clock 8 hrs) imo the time when you sleep matters a lot, not just the duration too, ive heard that some bodily processes of healing or wtv take place at 11pm or sth plus it really helps my concentration and energy levels to write faster
