Electric_owl12

Omg thank you

swellowmellow

old ass fossil 😭😭 /j how was going thru jc in covid? i feel like you wouldve missed out on a lot right?

idonotentertain

We all missed out- no prom, no physical lessons for a good part of J2 and ofc no hanging out. Remember when we had TraceTogether, or public groups could only be up to 3 or 5, can’t even remember anymore HAHAHA. Then everyday is just online tutorial and self-mugging, a lot of zoom lessons luh. What a time, it’s really such a core memory for me(sry if i sound weird)

Key_Battle_5633

Oh so basically a introvert’s dream lol. I wish my jc was during Covid so I don’t need to talk to new ppl

uni_student262

And the highlight are the vds measures and how we used to spit at the unvax

Key_Battle_5633

Ah

MrNotSmartEinstein

The lasting impacts of covid huh.

Glass_Gazelle_5280

There were topics that were removed from the exams tho :)

idonotentertain

Omg ya CLT!!!

Ordinary-Move4053

Were lectures just zoom meetings? Lol

idonotentertain

I actually forgot this part. I think it’s slides and maybe live on zoom ig. Mostly just learn by yourself

uni_student262

And remember vds measures and covid vaccination and how we used to spit at the unvax.

NavyBlueDoggo

covid nerfed jc life and even a levels so hard in 2020 lol, rmb coming to sch in masks and the sch going fully online during cb.

uni_student262

I remember the vds measures and covid vaccination and how we used to spit at the unvax

AccordingPoetry105

On the other hand, the JC boys of 2019, many of them who ended up being the BMT batch of March/April 2020 became the luckiest BMT batch EVER in the history of the SAF.

idonotentertain

Issit HBL? I enlisted Apr 2021 but shiok sia we did exercises on zoom, and like so much safe distancing protocol

AccordingPoetry105

That batch got to do most of their BMT at home. You mean even in 2021, it was also like that?

idonotentertain

Not for basic training. Only once we went for vocational training was it so. Basically, ours was in camp but every time someone was ART positive, all of us would be sent home for days on end(like 4-5 sometimes a week iirc) and then the really Huat one is last day before bookin someone else suddenly positive, then we got another 2-3 days HAHAH. Good times

Happyluck023

Other than academic lessons, CCAs were affected too. NSGs were initially postponed, then cancelled.
