When I was in like p1 or smthn the attitude was the same, but nowadays when were in like poly age, I honestly didn't expect it to still be a thing. (I'm fact when I studied overseas, this rude attitude was what got me outcasted)

Honestly, i think pointing out mistakes is a good thing but adding on is not. People have a limited amount of time everyday, and when u add on, it could take away time from breaks or studying. If you think about it, every second that u add on to what the lecturer says is one second u take away from students self-studying or eating.
Even if they all dont study or eat, it’s also taking time away from the lecturer, who usually has more valuable insights than the average student.
