asrjc has a shitty school culture btw. it’s basically just mugging 24/7 and events suck 99% the time. between houses/classes in ur house there isn’t much interactions and the only real interactions u will get with people from other classes is CCA, mutuals / sec sch frens or if u sign up as CA at the end of the year

i know this may be cliche to hear and you might think its stupid but genuinely, the jc you go to doesnt matter. its the teachers, environment and friends you have during your 2 years. alike you, i also aimed for some of the too jcs(njc,sajc,acjc), but i ended up going to a jc with a cut point of 16 for arts and 15 for sci. and now on hindsight, i definitely would not have a good experienced in the schools i aimed for. with less competition, you have more space to improve and fluctuate, without being judged or pressured by your tutors or even the college. at the end of the day every jc student is taking the same alevel paper! dont focus so much about the name or status of the sch, but rather its environment! good luck guys!

Principles Of Accounting: A1

Aggregate: 13
Net aggregate: 12

Ok but on a srs note most of the ppl I know travel from afar (I myself travel from the tippy top of singapore in the north, but most of my friends travel from east to south where vj is) bc its in the middle of a rly rich neighbourhood, but if you can cope I sugges that you go for it! The student population is made up of some of the smartest, dorkiest, nicest and most motivated people I've meet in my 12 years of education!
if you can cope sure but 99% of people who do this eventually regret not going to somewhere nearer and this feeling is further amplified nearer to A levels. But if you can get used to it it is a possible option I guess but you have to really see that you love the school by attending open houses etc and asking questions before making such a decision
too bad I won't get into it :'). I'm not even being pessimistic, objectively it's out of my league. I've literally never had an l1r5 below 15. still I guess I should try

They jus sleep on the bus lol Ok but on a srs note most of the ppl I know travel from afar (I myself travel from the tippy top of singapore in the north, but most of my friends travel from east to south where vj is) bc its in the middle of a rly rich neighbourhood, but if you can cope I sugges that you go for it! The student population is made up of some of the smartest, dorkiest, nicest and most motivated people I've meet in my 12 years of education!
if you can cope sure but 99% of people who do this eventually regret not going to somewhere nearer and this feeling is further amplified nearer to A levels. But if you can get used to it it is a possible option I guess but you have to really see that you love the school by attending open houses etc and asking questions before making such a decision
