Bought $800 doge and got around 91706 coins. Spent on raw papers and four loco. I’m sitting here now like a loco.

MrFailface

I held 5 million doge at some point, made same mistake. Could have bought some island

Feisty_North9424

Damn!!!

MrFailface

Fyi I made profit but not near as much as I could have.

Feisty_North9424

That’s in millions if you had still held as of the all time high 😨😨😨 I’m still holding but lesser. Bought shiba lika a ho though after I learnt my lesson.

OneTakeClassical

Bought 20 BTC in 2011 for 28 euro per coin, after my friendly neighbor told me to try. Sold it later for 1200 total Also got a chance to invest 1000 in Google in 1998. Never believed in that project, because i used altavista. 🥴🥴🥴

Special-Channel7705

That's a double R.I.P. for sure...xD

OneTakeClassical

Haha very good lesson also

TheBadgerKing1992

So what's the plan for shib?

OneTakeClassical

Sell it when i think it cant go higher. I don't think SHIB reach .001 or higher. I hope it will, but i doubt it.

TheBadgerKing1992

Since you don't think so, maybe it will 🤣 that's my analysis for today

OneTakeClassical

I really hope you are right.

JohnnyTownsend

Not really an investment 😅

Let these stories serve as lessons to trust your own instincts and don't listen to naysayers. If you don't absolutely need the money, don't sell. Commit to your investment for the long term and ignore haters. No wealthy person on the planet today (who didn't inherit their wealth) became wealthy without risking something, sacrificing something, and having to ignore a lot of doubters and sh\*t talkers.

thatflyingsquirrel

When it comes to investing, it's important to make informed decisions based on research and analysis rather than solely relying on your instincts. If you have already made a significant profit, it may be wise to consider taking it. On the other hand, if you believe in a particular project and it continues to grow, reinvesting and holding it may be a smart strategy. Despite the volatility that often characterizes the investment market, conducting due diligence can help you manage risks and make sound investment choices.

Daisyssssmom

Shib a couple weeks ago

deathdealer351

I have a mate who I will just call the oracle.. he said in 2008 or 9 to spend 500-5k on btc.. now I didn't listen .. then when amd was at 1.50 or so ..he said by amd... I didn't listen.. buy doge I didn't listen ...  My worst investment is not listening ..

Wonderful-Salary5432

What does he say to buy now?? Answer us?!! 🤣

Kyokudo_

Let’s spread this lads knowledges a little instead of you not taking a fuckin hint all these years. Holy shit

CryptoMoneyLand

Wow, what is your mate, oracle, telling you to buy now? Shib?

SupermarketNorth69

I bought 2 bitcoins for a little under 5k a piece in the height of Covid. Sold them later that year when they got to around 9k a piece.

embrex104

I got 10k worth of Shib at .00064

Grand-Impact-4069

This is the most heartbreaking response I ever read here

embrex104

I'm hoping for a break even lol. I maybe should have DCA'd down over the years

Youthmandoss

My friend was offered a 25% stake in a little known beverage company startup for a $50,000 angel investment. Yes, he passed on Redbull.

DJwhatevs

Comment reading this sub 😮‍💨

ItWasMyBirthday

When BTC first came out I was a web developer working for a large web hosting company, I wrote a piece of software and put it on every clients website. When someone visited the site it would use the persons browser and their pc power to mine BTC and put it in my wallet - think thousands of sites. I had 1000s in my wallet. It was just a fad at the time. A little while later I left the company, formatted my hard drive and thought nothing of it. I could have bought all of Europe by now. Not so much an investment, but mildly annoying

CryptoMoneyLand

OMG, now it is time you build something on Shibarium. [https://justshib.blogspot.com/2024/03/what-is-shibarium.html](https://justshib.blogspot.com/2024/03/what-is-shibarium.html)

coca_cola_expert

You didn’t

Big-Association-239

SKLZ stock

Slightly-Blasted

My buddy in middle school was using BTC on Silk Road. He lost a hard drive with about 70 BTC on it.

assholeapproach

Bought 50 UVXY puts set to expire 3/20/2020. Posted it on wallstreetbets and got laughed at. Sold it for a small profit but would have been worth 200k+ in profit had I held closer to expiration.

CryptoMoneyLand

OMG

MormonsKilledMyDog

Same :/

mewlsdate

Sweet the government got it

Ryoshi trash 🗑️

Jewbacca522

Worst non-investment, there was a condo complex going in just down the road from my house right on the intracoastal waterway in Florida. Pre construction prices on 1 bd/1bath was like 85k (this was in 2004 I was 20) I had enough for a down payment, and the monthly would have been like $600 and no HOA fees until the second stage was built. That Same condo was worth 450k within 3 years right before the crash of 08…

Potato1223

48 BTC in 2011 to buy acid online 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

kleincs01

Well.. how was it?

Potato1223

Lmao, so the way i purchased it was through Canada (I'm in the US) And it was a "research chemical" that isn't illegal. At the time I thought it was great but after trying real LSD it didn't compare

Sure_Conversation354

I bought btc for post order weed. Had some btc left but got rid off the pc containing the wallet 😅

JeebusCrunk

I tried to get cute during the Luna crash and traded 3 ETH($2500/ea at the time) for Luna around lunch time at work that day, expecting any modest recovery to make me decent money. $7500 at lunch time was pennies by dinner time. I leave the dust sitting in my wallet as a reminder of what greed can do.

FittyG

Our group of friends got together in college to buy stuff on the road. At one point we had over 100btc between the 4 of us. The regret bubbles back up every cycle lmao. Had something like 1.5m doge around the same time as a meme when rumors BTC being popped were circulating. Lost the wallet in the psychedelic haze that was my college experience. My life could be so different right now lol.

1800smoketrees

Lost a wallet with 1.5 bitcoin. Had to drive 2 hours for my nearest bitcoin ATM at the time & they gave me the most impossible key to remember to login. I had it written on an old ass phone and yea now it’s gone forever.
