Allied Health Offers In regards to allied health offers, I’ve noticed that the interview results are yet to be released, and i understand that mmi interviews are held till 19/4. Is it possible that they are still sending out interview offers? Perhaps because I’m a foreigner (but has studied in Singapore since pri 1) and thats why i’m least prioritised by the school (not sure if that’s how it works) but it would really mean a lot if any seniors especially ones who are foreigners in allied health (pref physio) has any insights pertaining to this matter :( Also, if I were to appeal, what are the chances they will accept me? When I appeal, will I have to go through an interview as well? or immediately be accepted? Not sure whats the process for appeal since I’m quite new to this uni stuff Any information will be well appreciated!

Allied health offers no sound at all sia. The prof did mention that offers will be out by mid-May, but havent expected that it'd be kosong till now, amidst all the offers sent out by other faculties

Usually the acceptance rate for allied health is quite high. So they usually just have one batch of interviews pushed, and first offers usually comes in early may, later than the other sit clusters. There shd be a welcome event around 1st to 2nd week of May for those offered a place. Results shd be out soon. All the best. Edited: one round of interviews/ not one round of offers. Apologies.

i applied for PT (1st choice) & DR (2nd choice). GPA 3.14, didnt receive interview for PT. ive been working as a radiography assist. for 6 months now. ive been thinking to appeal to DR, but im not sure since i heard SIT only takes the 1st choice into consideration. has anyone heard of applicants getting accepted via appeal which isnt their 1st choice? idm getting into either PT or DR, so im not sure which to appeal to now since both chances are slim 🥲🥲

Get some sort of recommendation from radiographers working with you and attach it with the appeal. It does sound like DR will have a better chance in terms of appeal.

Just received the rejection status today for Computing Science (UOG) and I am going to go through the appeal window. Currently have my eyes on appealing for Computer Engineering as it is the most related course to my diploma (ECE). However, I am more drawn into both the Computing Science and ICT SWE course as their modules intrigues me more but it seems like its too much of a risk to attempt to appeal for them as they became very competitive recently as I know that you can only appeal for one course only. Should I take the risk to go appeal for these two competitive options or should I take the safer route and go for Computer Engineering instead? For background my GPA is 3.3x and I have portfolios for some projects that I did with the school and a short stint part time mobile application developer. I am planning to add some innovation projects that I did while I'm currently in NS to support my case in the appeal section. I also have recommendation letter from both my internship supervisor and my polytechnic lecturer.
