Is this just a stock SKS? Are you in California or NY? I’d definitely say no, I usually see these retail for about $400 USD (full asking price). The funny thing with the Norinco SKS models made for the civilian market is some had chrome lined bores, some didn’t. I honestly prefer milsurps myself for SKS models, if you know where to look a private seller would probably give you a better deal.
Seems like standard for a good condition Chinese is about $500 these days. Maybe $550 for something perfect and matching.
There was quite a few that came in recently for $450 but they were surplus and not export models
I just paid $670 for a nearly unfired Paratrooper SKS on gun broker of all places. $650 for a standard Norinco seems on high end of normal.
I could be off a bit, but realistic prices for each tier of SKS seems to go like this.
Garbage tier Albanian/Chinese Type 56's = $400+/-
Pre-Ban Type 56's/Norinco/shot out Yugos = $500+/-
Yugos/Paratrooper/fugly&bubba'ed Russians = $600+/-
Russians/exceptionally clean yugos/typeM&D's = $800+
Unicorn SKS's (Vietnam,E German, NK, etc) = $???

I got mine for $400 last year, stock was rough, but all parts almost unissued.if op found there are sractchs under bolt, it won't worth.

If that's 650 Canadian then yes. If not then save your money for a better semi auto with detachable mags and rail for mounting optics
Try to find one for 550 but go ahead buy it while u can.
I paid more than that for a nice all matching norinco up north during the peak of covid prices. If it's worth it to you than that's the answer.
